I really love a divisional rivalry. In football. And when it comes to the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots, we haven't had a real rivalry amongst those two teams. In a long time during the Jim Kelly Superbowl era. The Bills were a championship contender and the Patriots were completely irrelevant. Then the switch eventually gets flipped. Tom Brady goes to the Patriots. And for a very long time that was no rivalry. That was twice annually the Patriots kicking the shit. out of the Buffalo Bills. Again, completely lopsided. That's not a rivalry. And then it flipped again. Tom Brady goes to the Patriots. Soon enough, New England completely falls apart. That coincides with Josh Allen and the Bills rise among the best teams in the NFL.
And again, it became one sided in favor of Buffalo. Well, this past year we finally got that Buffalo New England rivalry. Both teams good. At the same time. Of course that carries into the off season and when you have a rivalry, especially a divisional rivalry, that leads to a lot of shit talking. Amongst fans of the respective fan bases. Patriot fans, for obvious reasons, think that they have the best team in the division. Bills Mafia, for obvious reasons, think they have the best team. In the division. Today on this show. I kinda wanna take an objective look, as objectively as humanly possible anyway, between the Bills, the Patriots, we'll talk about some general stuff. We'll have a positional breakdown.
And I'm going to try to figure out again. As objectively as possible. Who's the better team right now? Last year means nothing. In June of twenty twenty six. Three years ago means nothing. in June 2026. We are talking about right now today, the Bills, the Patriots, which team is better right now.
