This is the United Daily Podcast. I'm Wayne Barton with today's news and rumours. Tyler Fredrickson, the young defender, has agreed a permanent transfer to Lausanne Sport.

There was some conversation that they were going to wait until later in the window to get... a deal done for a left back but they might strike while the irons are if there's a lot of doubt at Newcastle if they're allowing their players to consider moving on so we'll see what happens there I'm still not quite convinced I think United are still looking for a midfielder some speculation about different striker targets as well nothing really concrete at the moment in time in terms of reasonable fees
