These guidelines were released as a collaboration between the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO), and the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM). A/Prof Kane and Professor Vogel discuss the guideline’s change in diagnostic threshold for PPH, recommended preventative interventions, first-response treatments, refractory PPH treatments, and more.
