Rebecca Wolf, we have you back because we got some more widow questions. I think that uh perhaps as a as a response to our episode with you, but uh we got a a set of questions from widows or about widows in the widow universe that I could not, did not want to handle on my own. And the team said, who do we throw up the bat signal for in this case? We throw up the bat signal for Rebecca Wolf and Rebecca Wolf only. So We're we're gonna get into it. We're gonna get into it. All right, here is our first um Writer. It says, Hello, I heard your podcast on dating a widower. I believe that they are talking about the episode that actually brought us together for our first episode together, Rebecca, which was where a woman wrote in that she was dating a widower who was, um, in my opinion, I did go a little hard on this guy.
You know, he was on the first date, like, oh, I might have never felt like this since, you know, my my wife died and then, you know, maybe a week later was like, Mm, actually I'd never wanna talk to you again, but I'm gonna ghost you and pretend like nothing ever happened. It was It was unhealthy. Anyways, okay. I heard your podcast on dating a widower. I love my widower and I want to keep dating him. However, I'm hurting because he doesn't want to delete nude photos of his late wife yet. Even though he no longer views them. She's been gone two and a half years and he's just now starting to clean out her things because he's seeing me pull away. Is this my clue to end the relationship entirely? I feel like there are two women in this relationship, and like those photos are her hiding in the house somewhere.
Do I walk away from my beloved widower due to how these photos make me feel, or do I stay patient because he will delete them sooner or later? I've been single eight years and I am longing for love again and I love this man.
Um, okay. Do you want me to tell you how I feel about that? I
want I want you to tell me how you feel.
Okay, first of all, having no understanding that you have like clearly this person has had issues in the past with trust in a partner. So this is more about you than the person you're dating. This is more about your issues. If I were you, I would go see a therapist. I would talk talk to somebody about your trust issues. This man clearly doesn't have them.
