What were Andy's initial thoughts after the Capitol Hill press conference?

Hi everyone, welcome back to That UFO Podcast. My name is Andy and for those of you on YouTube, I'm just doing a quick post-press conference thoughts to be honest. Obviously I was on with the guys from the Doomer Friday crew, Clint, Dan Cleary, Xander and Pavel. Make sure you check out those guys' podcasts and shows. But yeah... curious on people's thoughts on that so we've had the event um from grush and co on the steps of capitol hill i know there's votes and stuff going on today um Yeah, it went by pretty quickly. I think it lasted, what, half an hour at most. We had James Fox was the first thing I saw. We came into the stream as he was speaking. James Fox done an introduction. We then had Anaplina Luna, who gave a kind of short piece around the work they have been doing and why they're frustrated.
i'm a little lost on Luna at the minute personally and this is literally me thinking off the top of my head folks here so apologies this i wasn't planning on doing this but i've just got some thoughts um because on one hand Luna's part of this driving force isn't she um where she is helping get videos out helping get files out as part of these releases and it seemed like we were going to get stuff we had Burleson, Birchit, Grush and others all tell us that the more andy yes please thanks terence um you had those guys all saying in the news over weeks and grush before the releases came out that he wasn't happy with what was going to come and what was going to come wasn't smoking gun i'm paraphrasing him here but it wasn't what was going to be required to really move things forward he had seen the videos but then luna in the last week is telling us that you know the meat and potatoes of what they have is out but everyone else is saying it's not
I'm a bit confused sometimes with where Luna is and how much she knows versus how much she regurgitates and I really don't mean that as an attack on Luna I appreciate some of the stuff she's doing but yeah so that Luna kind of spoke very briefly Burleson then came forward and bear in mind there was a whole stage full of people and I don't know if we missed anything on the live feed but like Peter Scafish was there Jordan Flowers so Peter Scafish Sol Foundation Jordan from Disclosure Foundation

What were the key statements made by David Grush during the event?

Geoffrey Nusatelli, Whistleblower were all in the background, none of them spoke Burleson made some comments pretty good around there's been more progress in the last couple of years than there has been in a topic in decades I think most folks would probably agree with that, is that right? Yeah He said that this is the age of disclosure. Nice soundbite, to be fair, and I think we need some of that for what I think is going to be important for the news media. I'm just making a note to bring that up going forward. And pleading with President Donald Trump to grant immunity and to waive all those NDAs that people have signed over the years to talk about this subject. Whistleblower protections are very much a big, big part of this, it sounded like, for them and for those guys to try and push forward.
Burchett came on and was very much the Tim Burchett I think most people know. Burchett basically was talking about... People with man buns being an issue, and by that he was getting, I think, at the kind of... How do you say this without offending anyone? The meek... I think he used the word meek, didn't he? The kind of folks that don't really know what they're doing, that are holding this back, people telling the president and others what they can and can't do, which on one hand seems a bit counterintuitive, given... Trump, what he's doing in Iran is a war, but it's not a war, it's a military operation, all that stuff. But Burchett was just saying he's a bit pissed off with a lot of this, but there is better stuff out there.

How did the participants address whistleblower protections?

And we, yeah, meek pansies, that was the wording he used. We had that said. So maybe a bit less soundbitey for the mainstream media, but I think for those in UFO world, it raised a smile. Jock McFrosty making the point yeah it'll be interesting to see how this lands here in the UK if indeed it does at all yeah I'd be intrigued to see and I'm going to come to the going forward from this Jared Moskowitz came forward and there was a really nice moment where Burchett who's a Republican
