Chapter 1: What were the big wins from last weekend's sports events?
Live from the Export Beer Garden Studios, this is the ACC Sportsbook, powered by the TAB.

G'day, Carl. Fresh from Magic Round, fresh from Rugby League Disneyland over there in Brisbane where, you know, the equivalent of kind of Mickey Mouse would be your Brad Fittler walking down the street and everyone would run and get photos with him. Is that about correct? Yeah, I didn't see Brad Fittler, but I saw a few guys that looked like Mickey Mouse for sure. Not a lot of clothing.
Word on the street, you might end up in hospital. I did, yeah. Open magic round. Now, that's a good effort. I did tell you to go over and, you know, kind of have a good time last week. I was insanely jealous. And, you know, you did your best. You put yourself into hospital. Yeah, I'd like to say it was Magic Round related, but it wasn't. It was for some other content. And look, I'm a company man.
I do what I can. Still here. Still going. And it turns out you might be allergic to seafood. That's all we're going to say there. Yes.
Yep.
Righto, okay, let's get into last week. Any big wins from over Magic Round or any other sports? Yeah, I could only find one actually from Magic Round. I'm sure there are a few, but one that stood out. It's a four-leg tri-scorer multi in the Tigers-Manly game. Lots of tri-scorers for Manly in that one. Someone turned $5 into $2,700. Nice. The word onto that punter.
There were a couple of other big ones. There was a same game multi in the first basketball NBA game between San Antonio and Oklahoma where someone turned 150 into 8,700. Oh, nice. That was 10 leagues. They went to double overtime that one as well. I was watching that while I was getting my haircut. It looks like they might have needed the double overtime.
A lot of overs, a lot of, yeah, a lot of overs. Someone taking a leg out of our book. and taken a top three multi across the card at Flemington. So races one to eight, $20 on to return $8,800. Jesus. That's some super punting. That's some great punting. And then someone at Harwood actually, race six, seven, eight, nine, had the winners, multi them all together, $20 into $26,000.

Chapter 2: What betting opportunities are available for the A-League Grand Final?
That is super leery.
Don't they go to extra point? Nah, none point, do they?
I guess it's the draw at full time. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah.
Oh, the three-way.
Yeah. Righto.
Okay.
Wild stuff. That's the Waz up against potentially the worst team in the competition on Saturday. Is this a banana skin? No. Kyle Tiley. Not potentially. They are the worst. I was there. I watched the first half of their game against the Panthers. We're talking about the Dragons here.

Chapter 3: How is Super Rugby shaping up for the upcoming weekend?
Gave me hope that at 38, I could make my NRL debut lane. Honestly, they looked so bad. That said, yes, I am nervous. Not because I don't think the Warriors won't win. I just think you don't want to be the team that loses to the Dragons. The first team to lose to the Dragons. You are being traumatized by Warriors past.
Yeah, I've got a lot of scar tissue.
Yeah, there's a lot of scar tissue because they do this so many times. But everyone keeps saying, this team's different, mate. This team's different. They are. That seems different. But they are playing away for the fourth week in a row. They are. Yeah, I've got a little stat here. So the Dragons are 460, Warriors $1.20 head to head. The Lions 13 and a half.
The Warriors have been double digit favorites 11 times over the last two years, and they've failed to cover every single time. Okay. So that said, the Dragons, if that trend continues, the Warriors should win, but the Dragons might keep a little bit closer than 13 points. Okay. I'm not convinced. Yeah. Where's the money going? It's all with the Warriors. 90% of the money with the Warriors.
Dallin, $1.42. AKP, $1.52. Licker, $2.05. And Jackson Ford, $4.10. All getting smashed any time. Can't put out a first try score at Jackson Ford any time at $36. Jeez. And Leka first, second, or third, and Aaron Clark any time at 26 are the two best-backed power players. I love it. Every time Aaron Clark scores a try, I just think of people celebrating around the country.
Someone's put 10K on the Warriors head-to-head at 26. Jesus. Okay. Someone's put 2K on the Warriors and Manly head-to-head.
is a 100 same game multi on aaron clark jackson ford and jane fisher harris to all score tries that would return 15 and a half k seems unlikely but good luck um and then a 300 same game multi on the warriors 13 plus yep dwz two or more tries yeah and akp anytime at 596 to return about 1500 596, I thought it would have been a bit bigger than that.
Anyway, so they're willing to score a double Warriors 13 plus and the Pakistani Prince. Yeah. Yeah. He couldn't get out of line last week. Tell you what, we would have got absolutely rinsed if he scored last week. Oh, my God. There is a lot of people around the office very angry with that drop pass when he had that open corner. Holy moly. Yeah.
I was on the power play down to score the first try into AKP anytime at $15. Oh, man. I was salty.

Chapter 4: What insights can be shared about the NRL games this weekend?
I'll give you a guess who our worst result is. Liam Lawson? Yeah.
Who's still punting on Liam Lawson to win?
Are people seriously still punting? It's going to have to be a hurricane is going to have to come through and blow the first eight people off the course. It could happen. Well, I guess the day it does happen, all these people are going to come flooding to you later and be like, I told you so. I mean, look, top 10, fine. And the point's fine. I just don't see a podium.
I can't even see him on the... Oh, there he is. He's paying $501. Yeah. Of the contending cars, Max Verstappen at $8, closely followed by Piastri at $10. All right, worst results. Yep. Antonelli at $275 is the best bet. Charles Leclerc for a podium at $5 is going strong as is Lawson to finish in the points at $2.75.
We've had $2.80 on Max to win at $8 and a $250 same game multi with Lawson and Gasly both to finish in the points at $4.84.
Nice. Okay. Anything else from this weekend worth having a look at that's come over your desk?
No. No. Excellent. Okay, we'll take a quick break and we'll come back with tips from around the office.

Well, the sicko came in, didn't he? He needed to and he came in and he will be one relieved man, one relieved harness sicko. He was. He was messaging me saying he was going to come after you for the... The shade that was thrown last week. Well, look, it motivates some people, Carl, and it affects other people other ways.
