This is going to be more sort of led by what we do with the shows and how the shows are... have a work on them and all that sort of stuff and the first question is just an absolute belter from Matthew Owen Keogh and he asks how far in advance do you book guests for shows and who at the wrap organises all of that
how are you I'm all good I'm all good it's a it's a complicated process Matt we book guests usually a week or two in advance But as you can imagine, things change. People's schedules changes, things come up, life happens. And sometimes we can be tasked with finding a contributor on the day. But luckily for us, we do have... a a roster i'd say yeah fantastic contributors and people so passionate about the reds and so passionate about the anfield rap and we're very fortunate that um we have a lot of people wanting to contribute and be a part of what we do
and take each other out i think everyone because your life happens points one of the things that i know you know when i have to ask because you know sometimes it's me sometimes it's you but on the day if i sort of say to someone listen something's come up x can't do it anymore can you jump on people will try and make it happen, you know, because everyone understands that they'll be in that situation from time to time. And we plan the shows circa four to six weeks in advance. We know, I mean, obviously a fair bit of it plans itself. So, you know, for instance- Scheduling,
football schedule,
that is. Football schedule, sort of. So if they're going to play, we know when they're playing in December, for instance, that we're going to be doing a review post-match. We know there's going to be a Friday show. So all of that works that way. So we've got that in our back pocket. But I just think when we book the guests, what we found is quite interesting. There's such a thing as giving them too much time because then people can forget it and all that sort of stuff. And then there's such a thing as not giving them enough time. So it is that sort of sweet spot. And different people have different sweet spots as well, which also can make it a bit of a challenge.
It is. Everyone does have different sweet spots. Some, like me, for example, when I was a contributor at the Anfield Rap before I worked here, I used to look about two or three days ahead in my schedule, whereas some people like to know two or three weeks a month sometimes in advance.
