Keris, it feels like Germany hadn't been super convincing sort of up until this point, but I still don't think we expected to see what unfolded last night.
I just think they look like so much less than the sum of their parts, particularly in attack. Like if you look at the amount of quality that they have and of incredible players that they have, You just would have expected them to be far more clinical and far more creative. Massive, massive credit to Paraguay because they defended very well and they really struggled to break them down. There was a lot of also last-ditch defending. It was a very disciplined block, but a lot of it came down to last-ditch tackles, last-ditch blocks, which is, I think, what you want to see in a World Cup knockout game.
