How much did you enjoy it?
Yeah, amazing. Yeah, one of the best moments of the World Cup so far. Just, you know, exacerbated by the fact that they've got so many fans there. Just great scenes. This sea of yellow that we're getting. You know, the manager jumping into the crowd with his family. There's a lot of blonde hair going on there, you know? And like, yeah, just people in tears in the stands. It was just, yeah, amazing, amazing scenes.
Do you make it the best performance of the tournament so far?
I don't know about that. I mean, it's nice of Ecuador to join us finally after being billed as dark horses and then us all going, where? No, they were really good. And it's not like this was a smash and grab. They were really good value for that win. I think probably... Other sides have produced more complete performances where they've been a bit more efficient. But it was a great performance. The goals that they scored, I was really impressed by. Particularly the first, I think, considering we've spoken about their lack of quality in the final third, to have the confidence to take that shot on so quickly was really important. And it was really unexpected as well, because when Germany went ahead early on, that's curtains.
What did David Ornstein reveal about the structure and timeline of the Anderson transfer?
I really wasn't expecting them to... To come back from that, I don't know if Germany maybe took their foot off the gas a little bit, knowing that they were already kind of safe and qualified. But it also, you know, they were clearly very frustrated and were clearly pushing for the result as well.
