I'm fine, thanks. Thank you guys for having us on today.
Thank you for your time. So tell us about LSD Events Management. What was the big idea with starting this company?
So LSD Events has been running for about two years. We host consistent, successful events weekly, and we focus on quality music and memorable experiences. Something that does set us apart from other event organizers is Not just consistency, but also we have strong lineups, attention to details, and we prefer on creating an experience rather than just a party. So if you notice, our events are always themed. It's always got a design and there's always big artists. We don't just book one or two headliners. It's more about giving the people a show. So the Jingle Bells event. It's a festive charity event that brings together music, entertainment and gives back during the festive season. We decided to do this because with the increase in gender-based violence and many children needing support at this time of the year, we felt it was important to use our platform to make a difference.
And what inspired the charity event was Not just about care, but also unity in our community. So we said we could turn a celebration into an initiative to give back to charity, and that felt right. And we chose the Green Door Foundation, the Green Door Charity, because they provide shelter and counseling, which is essential to the survivors of gender-based violence. especially women and children, which in this time of the year and with everything that's been going on in this country, it was something that we felt that we needed to do to show our support as well.
And so tell us about the event that's happening today. So Jingle Bells Christmas Spot is happening today. It's at the beach in Rivonia. Tell us about what's been planned for the event.
So we've got amazing headliners. We've got Dalutz, we've got DJ Milo, Zane Galston, Kylo, Hershey on decks, the list goes on. We've really got an amazing lineup. But apart from just that, like I mentioned, we always do team setups at our events. So anyone coming through can expect Christmas decorations everywhere. We've got deers, we've got a Santa, we've got lights.
Who is Sushen Singh and why did they start LSD Events Management?
So we've really gone all out to create this experience. And our aim of this is to generate a decent amount of profit so that we can obviously give those proceeds to the Green Door Foundation.
And tell us, where is the Green Door Charity or Foundation based in 7-0-2 land?
It's in Deep Slut.
And do you know how many people are being assisted by the foundation that would then benefit from the proceeds or the profits that you will be donating to the organization after this event?
So the last time we visited, we did do a charity event with them as well last year. It does change because it depends on the people that come in. So it could be anything ranging from 150 to even 300 to 400 people. It just depends how many people are in at the moment. So we've been dealing with one of the main organizers of the Green Door Foundation, who's the person we actually have direct contact with. And he's assured us that all the proceeds that we generate and provide to them will be given to these kids for shelter as well as the women who need food and stuff like that so we're not just uh giving away money we've also decided that after today we'd also like to go and pay a visit to them when we're giving them the funds and also issue out some sandwiches and stuff like that it's not just about money it's also about giving back and showing care
