Thank you. I was on YouTube yesterday and I watched a collection of commercials that don't hold up. And so I didn't even want to send this to Kevin this morning because I had Kevin put them in. I just didn't want it to be wasted on anybody, but I needed somebody to do producer stuff. So Eddie, you're going to be the one to experience these with me live. Okay. All right. These are commercials from back in the day that were legitimate commercials that they thought it was okay to run these commercials. Oh no. Oh no. And some of them, it's only okay because, for example, this first commercial is about AIDS. Oh, my gosh.
I guess it's something they had to talk about.
No, but it's different. Before AIDS, the epidemic, AIDS was this. Hit it.
I was overweight and looked terrible, but AIDS helped me lose 46 pounds. The AIDS diet plan helped me lose 28 pounds. AIDS helps control your appetite, so you lose weight. Yet AIDS lets you taste, chew, and enjoy. And the appetite suppressant in AIDS is not a stimulant.
AIDS helped me to lose 18 pounds, and it doesn't contain anything to make me nervous.
Question. Why take diet pills when you can enjoy AIDS? AIDS helps you lose weight without making you jittery.
So it's spelled A-Y-D-S. Okay, I was like, they're not talking about the same AIDS. That is crazy. That was a popular appetite suppressant candy from the 70s and 80s. A-Y-D-S. I'm sure it was so stimulant heavy because that used to be what a diet pill was. We'll just stimulate the crap out of you. And it's basically like those bumblebee things at the gas station now. Oh, yeah, yeah. The yellow jackets. Yeah, whatever those are.
Yeah, yeah.
I never actually bought those. But yeah, how about that? I lost weight with AIDS. It took me a while to realize that they're not talking about the same AIDS. This one here, I watched this one and I laughed out loud. So this is America's favorite oriental food, le choy.
