We're gonna start for a little bit on Couple of minutes anyway, on the latest Green Line story. Thanks to a tweet from Donald Trump. Uh but we'll move on from that to a bigger conversation. That has certainly gripped parts of Europe. But I think it's spilling over now to uh the rest of the world as well.
I'll tell you more about it in a couple of moments. But as we always do on Monday, uh we start off with giving you a little housekeeping. Tomorrow it's uh Raj and Russo. Reporter's notebook. All right, Janice. Uh Greenland. L let's let's start on Green Line, 'cause you know, Trump as he usually does, tries to get out ahead of everybody else and says claim, you know, that there's a deal on this, that or the other thing. Now He is saying, and I guess we'll see the full details within the next uh day or two. Um That there's a deal on Greenland. It the deal that he's outlined on Greenland seems to me something the Americans have always had, but the ability to go in and put bases there.
They had lots of them. They're the ones who took 'em out, not uh they weren't kicked out.

Right on. Look, we don't have the text yet. We'll have to wait another couple of days and Boy is the devil in the details here, but Um nothing he said in that tweet. I have to say, I am. hundred percent skeptical of anything that Donald Trump tweets out, but even granted that nothing that's in he says in that tweet suggests That the US is getting rights that it didn't already have, but voluntarily. didn't exercise because they they had bases all over Greenland in World War Two and shut them down after World War Two. The big one, Peter. Did Denmark and Greenland have to give up any sovereignty?
