But none of those Republican members of Congress who sent out a tweet today had enough courage to say what this three-time Trump voter told C-SPAN.

It's not just Democrats. There are Republican senators, Pete Ricketts, others saying, look, we understand it was us, but the president should just come out and apologize for it and say, look, this was a mistake. Sorry if it offended anyone. Why not?
