Now, um, HBO, if you've been living under a rock, is remaking the books into a TV series. We've had the movies. Um, God, the last one came out, oh my goodness, 15 years ago, I want to say. Almost you fact check that while I set up the HBO TV. TV series. So um they are doing a book a season. And at the end of last week, we got the second teaser trailer for it. Now Now we kept trying to find ways to cover this in the pod, but we just couldn't fit it into the mix. So we thought, why not talk about it in the debrief?

I still remember I saw that's how long I've been with my partner for 'cause we saw it at the movies together. Yeah, that's why I knew it was like roughly around then 'cause I knew we'd only recently started dating. But yeah, um I can't believe it's been that long since we last saw the movie.
That was I was in year six. I was in year six and I do remember also watching it and I my neighbours across the road, that was our thing. We used to go watch Harry Potter movies together and that was just what a b and a two-parter ending to that series in movie form.
I do I will say they did the Deathly Hallows quite well. But the whole reason I think that I mean, obviously, let's make money. Um, let's make a new Harry Potter thing. We know it's not only going to capture all the existing Harry Potter adults, it's also going to capture a new generation of Harry Potter lovers, people who were new to the story, kids and teenagers. But as well, there was a lot of criticism of the movies that they just didn't hit all of the detail in the book. Which they just weren't able to. Let's face it, what have you got? 90 minutes to two hours to get it all in. So yeah, that's what we're being told to expect. A lot more detail. And yeah, we got this second teaser trailer. Now we are gonna get to the JK Rowling uh controversies and and what people have to say and what you listening had to say about it.
