They start with why the first round of the playoff isn’t as great as advertised and lends itself to massive mismatches and blowouts. Colin argues that the power schools are more than happy to play the weaker schools early in the season and shouldn’t complain when you face them in the playoff (3:30). They move to the announcement that the USC/Notre Dame series is being put on hold after ND inked a home and away deal with BYU and Colin argues Notre Dame should have offered more wiggle room to USC in order to maintain a respectably challenging schedule (9:30).
