Well, listeners, you join us at the end of stage four of the Tour de France Fam. We found a lovely little square uh in Dijon that we're all enjoying after what was the first real GC shakeup, wasn't it? A time trial stage, the the time trial stage that everyone was uh looking ahead to. My name is Rose Manley. I am joined by Denny Gray.

And Lizzie Banks. Good evening, Rose, Denny and lovely listeners. Everyone's been very civilised. Uh having been in a well, I mean Lizzie's been on to some mad um quests today that we were. And here I was gonna say, well I've had a very civilised day and I realised I've had a very uncivilised day actually. Come on to that later. I've been thrown about the back of the car at ninety-seven kilometers an hour, but I will tell you for why later on. Exactly. But yeah, we find ourselves in Dijon. Really lovely, um, kind of oldie worldy to use a technical term. Medieval, I think, is the word we have. I think medieval might be more the word, but we have all the kind of old Wattle and Dorby type buildings, don't we?
We are actually sitting just in the shadow of the uh Notre Dame church, which has got beautiful sunset, the beautiful light hitting it. Uh, it reminds me a little bit of Compare where we were last year, of course, standing at the beginning um of the Tour de France. But it's a very lovely atmosphere and it was you know it's a very relaxed, very serene atmosphere. You had a bit more of a kind of busy morning, didn't you, Lizzie? A bit more of a party, jovial party atmosphere where you were this morning at the start. Well you are the I did indeed. I was down at the Start Village um well before the start actually and and then I I was there I then went off in the team car with uh San Michele Preference Home Ober ninety-three.
um behind Allison Jackson and then I came back again and really at that point it was the thick of the action, Loras Adachis was setting off, Lot Kapeki was about to set off and it was just a very lovely wholesome vibe I would say. It was like a village fate. Everybody was having picnics on the grass. It was a beautiful little village as you headed out of the Startgate. And nice for you to get to enjoy it as a fat I mean as a rider you'd never have seen that. Right, you'd never have enjoyed that kind of No, not really.
