Cheers. Well, listeners, you join us as you can probably hear at a little bistro in Nice. We're uh speaking from the morning of the final stage of the Tour de France Fam stage nine, which runs from niece to niece. Um my name is Rose Manley. I'm joined by uh Denny Gray. Good morning, Denny.

And uh it should be said that of course in tradition with how we normally do the final uh stage of the Tour de France fam, we're gonna be recording throughout the day, uh so you kind of kind of follow along with us as we experience the race i in real time, uh pretty much. It is indeed all gonna be decided today, isn't it, where the yellow jump jersey is gonna finish. Um well wh why don't you give us a little overview, Denny, of uh the state of play?
Yeah, uh well on the menu today, uh at least on the race uh course, uh we've got ninety-nine point two kilometres, four cents of cold airs and the racing just goes up from the off. So uh we could see aggressive racing right from the from the gun. And it's the kind of course where the descents could play as much a role as the ascents.
And we need to of course talk about the contenders because this is extremely narrow, isn't it? I mean going into the final day it this is the the closest margin that we've seen so far at the Tour de France spam.
Yeah, very, very, very tight. Of course, eight seconds the difference between Dami Vollering and Cash and I Via Doma. Of course Nivodoma beat Vollering by f just four seconds two years ago, and it's just as tight this time around. Couldn't have dreamed for a better setup going into the final stage. And we have the added spice of Cash and Iviodoma's beef with Celia Jury and FTJ Suez uh yesterday after she accused them of being uh pushed into the Marius.
We better get on with our lunch here at L'Escalailada, shouldn't we? Uh full of ni soir specialities and you've ordered for me, Denny, and what I've got is like maybe green dumplings in a brown sauce and a plate of something fried, breaded, fried.
