Full Episode
Hey, what's going on, everybody? Welcome to The Daily Eye Show. Sorry about being a little late there. Beth and I were talking about volume levels and surely looking at the clock. So thanks for being here today on this Friday. It is November 14th, 2025. And as I said, with me today is Beth Lyons. I'm Brian. And we'll be doing this for the next 45 minutes to an hour. We'll see where it goes.
I think Carl might be at the door as well. So glad you guys are here with us. Don't forget, we do this every weekday, Monday through Friday. We do this at 10 a.m. Eastern. the time it is right now. So you can always come and join the live conversation by coming over to YouTube and just be part of our live stream. We have tons of people who do. Welcome to everybody that's in there now.
And if not, you can catch us on the replays. Also, just real quick, coming up this weekend... Tomorrow we'll have our typical conundrum episode. If you've never listened to those, those are a little bit different. I do a quick live intro that sounds very much like this. But then it switches over to using the two podcast hosts from Google Notebook LM.
So the process for that really quick is that I... Usually we'll come up during the week. I'll come up with an idea of what I think might be a good conundrum. Sometimes I have one. Sometimes they don't. Depends on the process. I'll work with GPT or chat GPT a lot of times to work out that conundrum. Like, well, what do I think the tension is here?
You know, is this really a problem that somebody could sit on either side of the fence iron? Usually my, my, um, you know, sort of guide for that, Beth, is like, I'll think, well, is it too easy to just say yes to like whatever the first part is? Like, yes, that one. And then, or is it just too easy to say like, well, clearly the future with AI is going to be both of those things.
And so it's really too easy of a middle ground. And that doesn't make for a fun conundrum. Like I always think of a conundrum as being Beth, you present argument for side A. And I'm like, that makes a lot of sense to me. And I'm like, I definitely am with Beth on this. That seems like the future of AI we should be focusing on. And then maybe Andy or Carl or Jimmy are on.
And they're like, okay, listen, there's this other side. And I'm like, shoot, okay, that's also a good point. And then you come back back and you're like, also, don't forget. And I'm like, oh, man, I don't know. You know, right. So like they don't all go that easy.
But that's like the that's the cream of the crop for me is if you're listening to these conundrum episodes on Saturdays and you're thinking. Both of those have Mary, both of those seem plausible for those, you know, and I'm not really sure where I fall on on the on the line as to which which way I might lean to it. So anyway, that episode will come out.
It always comes out on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. So you can see that drop. It's not on YouTube, though. We don't want to be on our podcast platforms because it really is an audio. It's not it's not visual. It's not meant to be visual. And it does really well. Like it's it's still one of our, you know, equally performing episodes on Spotify. So I'll continue to do them.
