The Rams look like Super Bowl contenders last night. They rolled the Giants twenty eight to six. Big news out of this, you're gonna look at Aaron Donald, and we'll get to him in a moment.
Didn't look like he had aged at all, and looked like that was first ballot Hall of Famer Aaron Donald. But the Giants losing Jackson D. Dart not expected to be a serious injury, leg injury, and uh Malik Neighbors banged up once again. But uh Devontae Adams adding to that Hall of Fame resume, he had eight catches, one ninety-five, and two touchdowns. This is what I don't understand. Now the Rams have two good tight ends, but if I don't have Puka Nakua in there Chances are I gotta stop Devontae Adams. Devante Adams, who is headed to the Hall of Fame, when he is done with his career, he could easily be in the top fifteen receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, top ten in catches as well. And he's been a big time playoff performer.
He has eighty three catches for just over a thousand yards, nine touchdowns in fourteen playoff games. Doesn't have the Super Bowl, but That could be forthcoming. And Matthew Stafford continues to look like vintage Matthew Stafford. But it I it got to the point where I go, okay, where is Devontae Adams going to be? Um because th that that seemed like that was the only option he needed. I'm not gonna say the only option he had, but the only option he needed was uh let's see, Devontae Adams. You know, I haven't thrown to him in like uh I don't know, three plays. Let me go back to him, but two touchdowns there as they blow out the Giants.
Yes, Paul. I was wondering if the Giants defense was trying to let uh Adams tire himself out and hopefully that was a way to stop him.
Well, that didn't even work, uh, because it felt like he was uh just running past patterns. That was you know, in warm ups, they had the patent go and you just uh just breezing down the sidelines and he had a wonderful performance there. But the return of Aaron Donald and uh here's Sean McVeigh, the Rams head coach on his first ballot Hall of Famer.
I think he models the way. You know, they they uh I was asked about that at the very beginning and he just elevates people he's around, situations he's a part of. There was a bounce. If you didn't get chills when he was introduced, then you're not freaking alive. And so that was awesome. And and I just think it's one of those deals that you get an opportunity to just say, just watch what the hell I do, follow my freaking lead, and that's what this guy does. I love him. We got the right people. Yeah, I I think it you know, sometimes you you know, sometimes you win, sometimes Sometimes you learn.
