This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed human. Why should you listen to Armstrong and Getty on demand? We're not boring. A lot of news is boring. And tedious. And depressing. And makes you angry. You don't want to live your life like that. Hey, I'm Jack Armstrong. He's Joe Getty. We're Armstrong and Getty. We try to bring you the truth. And help you figure out this crazy modern world.
Dan Wetzel 0:21
How about something about a comedic tone? Ha ha!
Covino and Rich (hosts) 0:26
Have a winner. Yes. Listen to Armstrong and Getty on demand on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
LeVar Arrington 0:35
You are listening to The Dan Patrick Show on Fox Sports Radio.
Covino and Rich (hosts) 0:39
What's up, buddies? What up? That's Hopalong Davis. Fourth of July. Fourth of July. We holiday. Celebrate with your Husker do's, your Husker don'ts. Rich loves his jumping jacks. Rich loves sparklers. Those are your favorite, right?
Dan Wetzel 0:54
Rich likes his name.
Covino and Rich (hosts) 0:55
Snakes and sparklers. Yeah, your bank snaps. We're ready, man. And we're celebrating Team USA in our sweet CVS pharmacy jerseys because Iowa Sam only gets us the best. And he's on the Glockenspiel. Danny G's on the phones at 877-99 on Fox. And, again, we're streaming live at Covino and Rich FSR. Quick reminders, Rich. Three quick reminders before we get to the phones and get you involved. Old school and 50 hits. Joey Chestnut tomorrow for 4th of July weekend. He'll be here. By the way, let me ask you then. If you're going to say Joey Chestnut's on the show tomorrow, the hot dog champion. How many hot dogs do you think we Americans, country road, eat every year on the 4th of July? He eats about 70. Man, including or excluding Joey Chestnut.
Covino and Rich (hosts) 1:43
Yeah, I was going to say, you could take his 70 way. I don't know, man. 155 million hot dogs. I was going to say that. I was going to say that. Enjoy your weenies. So Joey Chestnut tomorrow. That's 10 a.m. on the East, Danny G?
Danny G 1:56
Yeah, 10 a.m. Eastern. He's going to be on his way to the big weigh-in.
Covino and Rich (hosts) 2:00
Nice. And we have a bonus pod called Overpromised. I want you guys to check it out. Everybody here for Dan Patrick. We say, hey, we hope you like us. I think you'll really like Overpromised. It's uncensored. It's unleashed. And it's a lot of fun. It's a quick podcast. You could watch it. You could listen. Just search Overpromised wherever you stream. And, of course, it's on this YouTube page, at Covino and Rich FSR. And if you really like Covino and Rich, we have a Patreon show, again, where Rich is just completely off the wall. That's true. Michael Jackson style. And we do that in about two hours. We do that every day. So catch that. We appreciate you being here. And we will talk more NBA if you keep it on Covino and Rich and give us a chance.
Covino and Rich (hosts) 2:44
But every Thursday on our show, 2 to 4 on the West, here on Fox Sports Radio. We do something called Old School in 50 Hits. Because you go a little old school when you turn 50. By the way, I watched Louis C.K. last night, his special. As did I. He's 58, man.
Danny G 3:00
Bro, it looks like he's aged a lot the past few years.
Covino and Rich (hosts) 3:02
Let me tell you. I was like, wait. He's not that much older than me. This is sad. But I love him. He's a vato loco forever. He's very funny. Not quite there. But, you know, 50 feels like... That's going to be a big one. I'm still quite a ways away, but still 50. I'm not there either. I'm just saying he's 58. So once you hit 50, you feel a little old school. And when the clock hits 50 on Thursdays, we throw it back. And speaking of age, Lindsay Lohan's 40 years old today. And you can only... Think about her life and her career. She started off, she's just a little kid, big Disney star, making big movies. Then, you know, she's hit with a lot. Celebrity's tough on kids, we know that. And she goes through her struggles and issues and it's all over the news and social media and tabloids and everything else.
Covino and Rich (hosts) 3:52
And you don't hear from her for a while. Dude, she comes back. She looks dynamite. She looks great. And you can't be more happy for a Lindsay Lohan. So based on that, the biggest comebacks in sports and entertainment, and we get you involved, Fox Sports Radio, Dan Patrick Nation at 877-99 on Fox, and of course, at Covino and Rich.
