He is a general urologist and has a specialist interest in kidney stone disease. He has an interest in metabolic stones and in particular a rare condition called cystinuria which predisposes to lifelong kidney stones. He runs a rare disease website for patients with this condition - www.cystinuriaUK.co.uk. At Guy’s he has been clinical lead for his department and is currently the Clinical Director for transplantation, nephrology and urology.Dr Nish Bedi is a consultant urologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and is passionate about bringing more specific dietary and lifestyle advice for some urological conditions.
