Every time that we talk about war, every time I point out something that doesn't make sense here. Every time we say, you know, the president really doesn't have a plan and he keeps lying about a deal or whatever. Whose side are you on? Whose side am I on? Stop believing every dramatic declaration that says mission accomplished you remember george bush and i'm going to get to that in a second right because that's important like because i have seen this movie before many times and not not even in this decade not even in this century well yeah not even in this century back as the kids say in the late 1900s i saw this different administration
Same story. Or different administrations. So you saw this back in the late 1900s. You saw it in the early 2000s after 9-11. Big, big promises. Mission accomplished. Big announcements. Big television moments. Especially now. And then reality shows up and actually says, no. No. Look where we are this morning. The Strait is still closed. 13 Americans are dead. Israel is still bombing Iran is still fighting. The region is still on fire. It's about, we struck, we struck them. One of their major military facilities on Memorial day, as Donald Trump was saying, he wanted peace and demanding that people in the region signed a peace accord that the Abraham accord that they signed like, you know, decades ago, like this man is so dumb.
This region is still on fire. So I want everybody to explain something to me. Explain it to me. On Memorial Day, while Americans were honoring soldiers who died serving this country, as I said, the United States launched strikes in southern Iran at the exact same time Iranian negotiators were sitting in Qatar discussing a peace framework. So think about that. This is for a second. Demanding peace, asking for peace, while bombing people. We bombed Iran while negotiating with Iran. Now, maybe somebody has a very sophisticated foreign policy explanation for that. I mean, I've been around for a while. Maybe someone has a very sophisticated foreign policy explanation for that. Maybe somebody in Washington has a 10-dimensional chess strategy that the rest of us are too ordinary to understand.
