Sunday was the third week heading into the third week of the Nolan Wells story. First, his mysterious disappearance, and then the ultimate finding of his body and which the mom stood there watching as they retrieved it. So here we go with some more information, a new update.
We also have, people have been telling us we need a pathologist, need a pathologist to talk about the autopsy, what this all means, what happened with the throat, why wasn't it there, what about the marks on his neck, the red discoloration or whatever it is. You need a pathologist to talk about it. Well, we have a pathologist who's gonna come on and talk about it. And then we have a former Army interrogator coming on, and you know who he is. but I won't give you the name just yet, who's gonna come on and talk to us about, he's gonna analyze the Nolan Wells Friends interview, and he's going to tell us if he believes there's deception. Someone said Jolly. If he believes that there's deception, maybe Jolly gave it away or what.
But anyway, Jolly's going to be on a little bit. I may as well tell you who it is. Jolly, by the way, you know, is a former Army interrogator. He has done some analysis of this, and we're going to talk to him. But first, as I said, on this story that keeps changing, every time I think like, okay, there's you know the investigation or at least the news of this is slowed down because the investigation is going on something else happens like this breaking news into the don lemon show newsroom so to speak hey daniel grimes joins us now from washington dc so daniel we were let's talk about this um a possible lawsuit or lawsuits from nolan wells family to the friends and local officials
Yeah, that's right, Don. So Nolan Wells' parents, you'll see it right here, they filed a notice of intent to pursue litigation against local officials and Nolan Wells' friends. They sent notices to the family members. And basically the notices said, you need to preserve all physical evidence in this case, any evidence that you have that's on a cell phone, videos, pictures, any data that's on your cell phone, any clothes that you were wearing that day, every physical or any other piece of evidence, preserve it because we may sue you. And what we don't want to happen is that those lawsuits come and then you say, oh, I threw that away or, oh, I deleted that. I don't have it. And so this is a protective measure for the family.
It's just a notice of intent to pursue litigation, so they're not actually doing it yet, but it is that kind of pre-step just to make sure evidence is preserved. Now, that is my understanding as, again, I want to have the disclaimer, I do not have a JD, so that is my non-JD having legal understanding of this intent to pursue litigation done.
There's also some legal legal notice at least TMZ was reporting I didn't see it much beyond TMZ last week that the mom was I think opening up I had filed an intent or something to open up the estate of Nolan Wells and again someone asked me about it on the on the legend show and I wasn't sure of the Authenticity of it had been not been corroborated, but I haven't seen it beyond much beyond TMZ and so there is that part but What they have filed, in my understanding, subscribers, viewers, and Daniel, is what is described as a litigation hold. It just means that you need to hold all information, all communications, all devices, everything. A litigation hold is an official order that tells a company and its workers or individuals to stop destroying documents and electronic data because a lawsuit is expected or happening.
