What breaking news starts this episode about James Comey’s new indictment?
It is 5 o'clock on a Tuesday, and thank you for joining Lemon Live at 5. Oh, my gosh. All right, I'm going to have to calm down before I work myself into a stir. I would say a tizzy, but people would be like, a tizzy. Of course he said tizzy. Let me just make sure.
I have to do.
Okay, there we go. Okay, so thanks for joining us here on Lemon Lime at Five. We appreciate it. Make sure you hit the like and the thumbs up. Let me know where you are. I know, 505, right? We were ready before, but then at the last second I said, you know, I want a picture of something to show it. Okay, guys. When do we get out of this timeline? Because the craziest shit just keeps happening forever. Every single day. And I don't mean like this, you know, I don't mean like legitimate crazy stuff like because, you know, the world produces some unusual things. But I wonder. How are the people who are in charge of our country in charge of our country? And that's why I get so infuriated with people who now all of a sudden say, I didn't vote for this.
This is not what I voted for. Yes, yes, yes. But I will welcome you in, and I won't even say that to you if you acknowledge it. But I'm going to be like, and handle you with a long-handled spoon. As my grandma and my mom would say, oh, you see them? Child, you got to handle them with a long-handled spoon. And you know what that means. I think it's self-explanatory. And I'm talking about the Trump administration. How on earth are they in charge of this country, and why are they so ignorant? Now, I'm going to show you this press conference because they indicted James Comey again. This is their third try. This is their third try to try to imprison James Comey, and he could go to prison for 10 years for a picture that he took on the beach.
And I know, you know, oh, well, we don't know the facts and all of that. People say that. Okay, but even still, it's still ridiculous on its surface. And when you see the people who are out here announcing it, I'll show you. Cash Patel and Todd Blanche and some other guy, we don't know who he is, we call him Beard Guy, announcing this stuff about the second indictment of James Comey. And it's like, really? It's like the Keystone Cops, literally. For something that is innocuous, that nobody cares about, that no one would construe as it. Doesn't even mean what they say. That's the whole point of it. It's so ridiculous when all you have to do is a Google search. And you would understand. Now, this is Todd Blanche, beard guy, and Cash Patel announcing the indictment.
And I'm sorry to do this to you. I'm sorry. But here we go. North Carolina returned an indictment against James Comey on two counts. The first count is that on or about May 15th of last year, he knowingly and willfully making a threat to take the life of and to inflict bodily harm upon the president of the United States. Count two. Pause, please. Same day.
That never happened. Do we need to, like, rethink the grand jury process? Because you know that old saying, you can indict a ham sandwich with a grand jury? Because anyone can look at this and go, okay, this is ridiculous. No. Get out of here. That's like what my elementary school teacher would say, or my parents. Mom, dad, can I? No. Now get out of here. That's what should be happening with this. Now remember, this is your taxpayer money. The Epstein victims were out today. Where was Todd Blanch and all of these guys, and Kash Patel, and Donald Trump, and King Charles? Where were they when the Epstein victims were saying, hey, we want some justice? Release the things. They're out here indicting people for a picture that they posted on Instagram that I doubt that many people see.
I don't know how many. I'm sure James Comey does not have millions and millions and millions of followers. But they're out here. I'm sure he has a lot. He's a former FBI director, but come on. And he took it down, and he apologized, and he was interviewed by the Secret Service, and he told them that this was political speech, and he did not think that that had that meaning.
