Don, I got my steps in at the building behind me talking to a lot of people. I also I need to start this out by saying, listen, the fact that you and I, I guess, favor each other. Even I had a senator tell me when I said, yeah, I'm new to Don Lemon's team. He goes, you look a lot like Don. Senator Markey. So even the senators are saying it. But busy day here. We know Kevin Warsh. He was confirmed to be the new Fed chair. So it is Powell's, the current chairman's, last day on Friday. So he has just a couple of more days. But the new Fed was voted in. Hey there. I see the comments. How's it going? And then. The other big news, as I said, I talked to a lot of people. The two big points I wanted to hit on were, number one, the war powers vote.
So that is just basically Congress saying to President Trump, anything else you do in Iran, you need to come to us to get congressional approval. That vote actually failed. We had three Republicans, Collins, Murkowski, and the Kentucky senator, vote for that. But then we also had Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania vote against it, and the vote ultimately failed. So there will not be a War Powers Resolution vote. President Trump can continue to act unilaterally. And so, yeah, I talked to some senators about that. I also talked to senators about President Donald Trump's comments yesterday that he didn't care.
