Don Lemon 0:15
Good morning. It's hard to believe it's Wednesday. It feels like a Tuesday, but it also feels like this week has already been five days. So, you know, it is what it is. Good morning, everybody. Thank you for joining. I got a little bit of sleep last night because I'm back in my own bed. It's so good to be back in your own bed. Have you guys ever been there? So if you have your lemon mug and toast, if you're lemon live or your Don Lemon show mug toast, or it's your old people be knowing mug or whatever it is, toast. And by the way, I say that because there were lots of Lemonheads and Lemon Nation was out and about in force last night at the City Winery in New York City. Oh my gosh, guys. How great was it?
Don Lemon 1:03
And so just a little bit that we shot from the computer. We're going to put more of it on later, but this is a little bit from the proxy film company who shot Some of it last night. So check it out. That's us last night on stage with DL Hughley, me chatting. And so this is from the venue, right, that they shoot it. But anyway, but that is us last night on stage. And I was so grateful to have sold out, like sold out, like sold out people waiting, hoping that they could get in. Journalists, news organizations. Get in. The New York Times wrote an article about it last night. And just so you guys know, this is just part of it. And just so you guys know, the New York Times wrote about us last night, about us being there.

Defiant Don Lemon appears in New York days after his arrest. The anchorman who was arrested over a protest in Minneapolis told an audience in Manhattan, I'm not going to let nobody turn me around. and sang lines from the Civil Rights Era Freedom song. I certainly did last night. And so they talked about our work at City Winery, and it's very important work. I had some people there who had never seen it, and they were very impressed. I was a little bit different last night. I don't know if you guys have some other stuff, but it was a little bit different last night because I broke from the traditional show that we usually do. And so you can show the video now, Andy, if you have some of it. But I broke from some of the stuff that we usually do, and it was a lot more personal, and I just talked to the crowd, and it was...

So thank you. I just want to thank all the Lemonheads and the Lemon Legends and everybody. I want to show something, everybody. Make sure the like and thumbs up, you know, hit the thumbs up. It affects the algorithm. Please, everyone. More people become aware of our conversation and everything that we are talking about, which is really important because our channel is growing immensely. So thank you for that. I also want to talk about something that's happening to someone in my field who is someone that I know not very well, but I do know her. And I like to stick together with people that, you know, and work with. And that is Savannah Guthrie over at the Today Show. Her mom is missing. They think that she has been kidnapped some sort.
Don Lemon 3:06
I don't know. She needs medication. Here's a report. I want to send love out. And I want you guys, if you see or hear anything, please call authorities. But this is a report on, I guess I would call her my colleague. She works in the same business as I do. And so here's the report on Savannah's mother that we're all praying comes home safe.

And we have someone's life who is in jeopardy. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nano stressing the urgency of the situation involving Nancy Guthrie. The 84-year-old mother of Today Show host Savannah Guthrie has been missing for more than 48 hours. New video surfacing this afternoon of blood visible outside the front door. We've submitted all kinds of samples for DNA and we've gotten some back but nothing to indicate any suspects. During a news conference Tuesday morning in Tucson, the sheriff neither confirming nor denying the possibility of a ransom or demand for her return. We are following all leads we have. That's all I can tell you. Not long after TMZ posting this video.
Don Lemon 4:02
We got something in our email that looks like a, it's written like a ransom note.
