The person that they killed is less of a hardliner than the person who is Set to succeed him. So exactly what is it? Well, someone that we Donald Trump, they were going to try to come after Donald Trump and his life. Well, who was it? We can't tell you. So then what can you tell the American people? We're blowing up a lot of stuff. We've obliterated them.
But yet Iran and Israel are still firing at each other. They're still firing rockets. Iran is still firing rockets. And he's saying that they've obliterated all the stuff. Pete Hicks says we're loitering over the thing. It's a whole mess. Of course, all of this is unfolding as the government remains in a partial shutdown right now. And that right now we are standing by.

Chapter 4: What are the implications of the recent election results in Florida?
You know that's why he's worried about what's going to happen come November. That's why he's doing everything he can to try to suppress the vote. That's what he's doing. Because guess how many Democratic places, districts, that the Republicans have flipped? You haven't heard anything. As Bill Clinton would say, zero. Zero. He doesn't say zero. When he goes, guess how many jobs Republicans have, whatever, since the Democrats. I forget what he was speech. I think it was during a convention. He goes, Democrats have done this with other thousands and hundreds of thousands of blah, blah, blah. And guess how many the Republicans have done? Zero. I nearly fell off my couch. It's just pure. It's how did I know? It's arithmetic.
You guys remember that. You know what I'm talking about? Legendary. Epic convention speech. So big wins. Are you ready? Read them and weep. Republicans, MAGA, roll it. You do not want to overstate this.
To your point, if you go through most of the 2010s, this seat was held by a Democrat. So you don't want to overstate it. It's not, wow, Democrats have never won here before. However, you also don't want to understate it. The Republican who had that seat, who stepped aside when Ron DeSantis appointed him to another job so they had to have the special election, he won his last election by 20 points.
Donald Trump carried this legislative district in the presidential race a couple of years ago and then put it in the context of everything else that is happening. Democrats are winning local elections everywhere throughout 2025 and now throughout 2026. And they're doing it all over the map in rudely red states like Florida, in Georgia, in Mississippi, in Texas, in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
So Democrats, clearly the facts just speak plainly. The math speaks plainly as day. Democrats have huge enthusiasm behind them right now. And Republicans keep losing in places where just
In November of 2024, they were winning big. And so Democrats believe that they had a good year set up because it's a midterm year. You have a Republican president. His poll numbers are down. They thought they had a good year, and they think actually as we start to move through the early spring here, the opportunities are getting even bigger and wider, broader, if you will.

Chapter 5: How is the economy responding to Trump's policies?
The Senate had a deal that they were going to get through with the Democrats. And then they were going to do reconciliation on the other side so that they didn't need the Democrats. But there was a deal with the Democrats that they did not have to. Democrats don't want to put this save act in any sort of legislation. Because then that changes our entire voting system.
That also is the exact opposite of what we want for the Voting Rights Act. We want as many people as possible to be able to vote. We want people to be able to vote as easily as possible. We want access. No one wants illegal people, people who are not supposed to vote. No one wants election fraud. By the way, election fraud in the United States is minuscule. And you know what? Look it up.
Most of the time when there's election fraud, guess what? It is a Republican who's doing it. So it's all made up bullshit. So Democrats don't want that. And so Donald Trump is saying no deal with the Democrats. So for him saying that Democrats are keeping the government shut is a bold faced lie. Or as my grandma used to say, a bald faced lie.
And if you don't believe me, I believe we have Mr. Johnson. Here he is. Or sorry, Kennedy.
So Senator Cruz and I, a few days ago, came up with a two-step process to solve both problems. Step one, we would open up everything at DHS except ICE, including TSA, which the Democrats have already agreed to. And then we would fund ICE through reconciliations. which we could do only with Republican votes. We wouldn't need any Democratic votes.
I don't speak for Senator Cruz on this part of it, but I also have suggested that we use the reconciliation process with only Republican votes to pass the SAVE Act. Now, we pitched this to Senator Thune a couple of days ago. He pitched it to President Trump. President Trump, as you know from his tweets, said no.
But I talked to Senator Coffin last night, and he says the president has reconsidered and may be on board. I don't know.
So there you go. No deal with the Republicans. In the meantime, our economy is tanking. But he said something about the war where he talked about, oh, this is a war. This isn't a war. Someone put it. It was Senator. I think it was Senator Blumenthal who was on this morning, who I heard a sound.
But I think it was on The New York Times or something that I heard as I was listening to their daily thing. He said this is not this is beyond a war of choice. this was a war of something. It's not that it chose to go into this war. It was, I forget how he, how he said it. It was a war of something, ego or delusion or something or distraction or whatever.
