Well, we talked about it, you know, on Pivot, too, you know, what you had done. And you, Scott and I have been really supportive of everything you've done since then in terms of doing independent journalism and et cetera. You know, the idea of you getting out there, your man in the street stuff where you stick the microphone in their face. Very true. I think it's been very powerful and very interesting. Some of it's kooky. Some of it's really great. You know, it's a mix. You do a lot of mix. You go places. I think you were at the, what were you at? You were at a show in the Grammys, right?

Grammys this weekend, right. And so you went from Minnesota to the Grammys and stuff, and you went on Capitol Hill, and you were talking to a representative there, and you go up to them, right? So we were really supportive of what you were building there. and really think it's interesting and it's the way independent journalism is going. And so when you went in that church and I watched what happened there, I mean, I get people's technical arguments, some of them, like when you're asked to leave, you should leave, that kind of stuff. But you were doing journalism. It was so obvious to one and all. And when they started to threaten you, I was worried for you. You know that. I wrote that. Because I think they didn't,
they don't care. Like, you know, you have enough, you know, they, they, they just, they have targets and either just the mad King decided he was mad at Don Lemon that day, which he is often mad at Don Lemon, or he just decided to, this was, we're going to make a, um, an example of you that's what i was worried about because they don't you know you're like oh they wouldn't do that doesn't make any sense i was doing journalism i'm like it doesn't have to make sense uh for them to act and you're a high profile figure and they could they could hang something technically on them using these kooky laws that they have um And it would be, it would get all messed up. That was my worry is that it gets all messed up in complexity when it's not that complex because the First Amendment supersedes everything.
And you were very clear about what you were doing. And you said it, you said it a number of times, like a lot, actually, because I think you were aware of the problem there.
Well, you said he's often mad at me, but for some reason, Todd Blanche was on this weekend saying, I don't think the president ever thinks about. And I'm like, where have you been?
Todd Blanche. I mean, that doormat. That doormat. Like, come on. What is he going to say?
And then Donald Trump said this about me.
I don't know anything about the Don Lemon thing, but he's a speech bag. Everyone's still there. in Washington, probably from his standpoint, the best thing that could happen to him. He's getting, you know, he had no viewers. He was a failure. He was a failed host. And now he's... He's in the news. I didn't know anything about him.

I mean, come on. No, why?
I'm teasing. Like, he's like, now he's in the ratings. I mean, that's how he thinks of the world. Like, it's good for him. It's good to be arrested and put in lockup. That's really cool. Like, you know, the way this guy views life is ridiculous. Of course he knows who you are. You drive him crazy. You're under his skin, like a lot of people.
