What is the show’s opening and why is Don asking viewers to engage?
Hello, everybody. Welcome to Lemon Live at 5. So glad that you could be here. The Don Lemon Show. A little bit late, as usual, because it's me. Because it's me. And because, here's why I'll tell you this. Because when the team does all the elements and they put them into place, they know. Right. Everything that's going to go into the show. But when I do it, they have to share them with me, which takes a little bit more time. And so and we're always want to be as timely as possible. So we wait sometimes just to make sure. Like when the stock market will wait and do a meeting to see when the stock market closes. So there we go. I love late Don. They say you take your time, my Don. Thank you. So thank you guys for joining.
Wow. Look at the engagement. It's crazy. I need you guys to do something for me. I need you to hit the thumbs up. I need you to hit the like. I need you to subscribe. And I need you to stand by. I need you to make sure you hit all that stuff because it's important to us as independent journalists that you look out for us. There you go. I'm just fixing my TikTok camera over there. And that you become a member. Thank you, Red Jet Shell. Because of Red Jet Shells, Generosity. Five people get to become members of the Lemon Nation. And what did Red Jet Shell say? Love you, Don. Like and sub. Right on. Thank you, Red Jet Shell. And you guys, I love it. I love it. I love it. When you come up to me when I'm out in public and they say I'm Lemon Nation or I am a Lemonhead, which is so I mean, it's and it happens so quickly.
even know where we are on subs. Is it like 700 and something? I don't even know where we are.
705.
Wow. Okay. Well, there we go. You guys have been keeping the train on the tracks while I've been gone. Yvette Cassander, welcome to the Lemon Nation. So thank you guys so much. We have a lot to talk about. Is there anything that Donald Trump won't grift or steal or take for free or he has no morals? Nothing, nothing at all. So we're going to talk about that. And then we're going to talk about, first of all, I want to talk about this whole Diddy trial that started. And I got to go back because I wasn't here yesterday when the Diddy trial started. I wanted to be here to talk about it, but I just, I wasn't ready to come back. What is going on in this trial? I mean, there is some really, really salacious things that are happening on the witness stand.
Don't y'all want some cameras in the courtroom? I think that there should always be cameras in the courtroom. I think it should be transparent. And because I know some people don't like it because they believe people showboat and they play for the cameras and all that, which is true. But I would love to have me some cameras in the courtroom, especially for this one. Especially for this one. It is. crazy someone said it's a smear campaign who is that uh producers who said it's a smear campaign i want you to explain that to me why you think it's a smear campaign and thank you as well yeah rockin robin what is a smear campaign explain it are they smearing diddy are you talking about trump what are you talking about
I do want to know. We know innocent until proven guilty, but I like to respond to the comments. Okay? I like to respond to the comments. That's what I want to know. So keep an eye out. I want to see why that Rockin' Robin said it's a smear campaign. That's certainly very interesting to me. So I wish, look, remember we watched the entire OJ trial. For those of us who are old enough to remember, it was amazing to watch. We saw the whole Amber Heard. I did not watch Johnny Depp trial. It was amazing to watch. And I think the folks were able to, you know, handle it. I think Wasn't the ASAP Rocky trial? There were cameras in the courtroom for that one. I think we need to come to a consensus around like federally and just say, look, cameras belong in every courtroom.
We need as much transparency as possible. Look at all the new members. Oh, my gosh. Thank you to all the new members. I really appreciate it. And we're going to shout some of you out.
