It is so cold in New York city for the last couple of days. I told you guys about this frozen tundra this morning. Uh, and that's what it is. Yes. Prayers for the Guthrie family.

91.013 - 95.361 Don Lemon

And I was talking to my mom about that because I mentioned my mom on the, um, on the, um,

96.438 - 123.576 Don Lemon

show this morning that my mom met savannah guthrie she could not have been nicer when she met her um a few years ago we were happened to be at the same event and it was just really really nice with the bon jovi and it was just great so yeah so prayers to the family i can't imagine that having someone missing and i don't know what the latest is i haven't followed up today but if you guys know let me know in the chat um someone said hi don f ice

124.67 - 147.539 Don Lemon

So, Gus, you know what's going on. By the way, again, hit the thumbs up and the like. Tell me where you're streaming from. Hello, Minnesota. Hello, D.C. So glad that you're watching us. Hello, U.K. U.K. Lemonheads are crazy. Did you guys see that in the chat, producers? There's U.K. Lemonheads that are there. Super Bowl show. What's the update?

Chapter 2: What are the latest revelations from the Epstein files?

1010.283 - 1042.858 Don Lemon

That's a ride or die right there. Thank you very much, the flower lady G. There is no effing difference. Or Megyn Kelly, something else. Not smart. A bigot. She don't like black people. And especially this one black woman who has a message for all of the folks who are in the administration and covering this up. Here's Jasmine Crockett.

0

1043.311 - 1059.468 Jasmine Crockett

We're not gonna stop. There were those that thought we would stop when we were able to get the discharge petition done. There were those that thought we were gonna stop when it didn't seem like we had the votes once we finally got that done. I mean, the House Speaker shut the House down so that we would not go there, right?

0

1059.869 - 1072.963 Jasmine Crockett

And now that they have violated the law, because this is actually in law, we are not stopping. So I want people to understand that House Democrats, we are gonna be on their asses. That's just the reality.

0

1072.943 - 1076.608 Jamie Raskin

And what is your message to President Trump in that case?

0

1076.628 - 1095.272 Jasmine Crockett

Same thing. We're going to be on his ass. I mean, you know, it is it is so. I don't really know where we are in this country. Why are we even having this conversation? The United States is falling apart right now, partially because he's going out and randomly allowing for the killings of people in the middle of the street.

1095.505 - 1113.852 Jasmine Crockett

But the other part of it is that we have a 34 count convicted felon and there are people that are still shielding him from any type of accountability as it relates to a child sex trafficking ring. It is time to take the blinders off. Like I don't understand why we are pretending like any of this is normal.

1113.832 - 1122.682 Jasmine Crockett

And I think that that is the level of frustration that so many people are bringing, whether you're a Democrat, Republican, or independent, specifically to the Epstein file situation.

1123.082 - 1145.91 Jasmine Crockett

Because right now we know that they were willing to try to throw the Clintons in prison for not showing up, yet they won't even allow us to bring other people into committee who we know are mentioned in these files and mentioned so much more. When we went through the hearing as relates to the Clintons, I said, listen, we know that Donald Trump's name is mentioned more. Bring him in, too.

1146.531 - 1155.526 Jasmine Crockett

Like, I'm not saying that this should be partisan. This should be whoever. I want to be clear about that. For the Democrats, this isn't partisanship. This is about right versus wrong.

Chapter 3: What is the significance of the recent Epstein file drop?

1194.834 - 1214.312 Don Lemon

They have two extra virgin olive oils that I always keep around. Sizzle is my everyday one that's for cooking. It's perfect for roasting and everything, sauteing, basically anything that you cook. Drizzle is bold and flavorful, and I use it for finishing dishes, dipping bread, salads, even a little over dessert sometimes.

0

1214.492 - 1233.08 Don Lemon

And then as my friend, you guys watch the show this morning, John Heilman, who is on, John Heilman from MS Now and Puck, said, what about the sizzle? No, Frizzle. Frizzle's the one for high heat. I have that one too. So you can taste the difference in all of this. And honestly, I love how the bottles look on my counter because they're colorful.

0

1233.461 - 1251.255 Don Lemon

Right now, you can get 20% off of your first order at Graza.co with the code LEMON. And I recommend the Graza Duo. Sizzle and drizzle together and get the Frizzle as well. I'm just saying. Graza.co, and the code is Lemon. Another sponsor of our show is one that I use on this show.

0

1251.275 - 1272.42 Don Lemon

Remember, all of our sponsors I use or other people have had success with them, not just a sponsor just to be a sponsor. So it has to have some sort of personal connection to me. So when I started the Don Lemon Show, I thought I just needed a camera and a plan, and I was wrong. Suddenly, it was logos, merch, schedules, websites, everything everywhere all at once. It was overwhelming.

0

1272.72 - 1295.359 Don Lemon

And that's where Shopify comes in. Andy, do we get the ding? Okay. There we go. Shopify is the platform behind millions of businesses worldwide and about 10% of all e-commerce in the U.S. And here at the Don Lemon Show, it's how we bring you the merch that you love. I know I didn't want it. Okay. You wanted it. You love it. I was wrong.

1295.339 - 1315.71 Don Lemon

Andy's in charge of the ka-ching on this program. Okay, let's get back to the program now. Tara Palmieri. is here and I'm happy to have her here. I wish it was better. Look, I'm always happy to have you on, but you know what I'm saying.

1341.427 - 1354.999 Don Lemon

Veteran journalist, author of the Red Letter on Substack and the host of the Tara Palmieri show here on YouTube. So Tara, I think this is one of the biggest bombshells yet. I mean, a nine-year-old, they're nine-year-olds and I don't know.

1357.121 - 1358.422 Tara Palmieri

There's a nine-year-old?

Chapter 4: How is Donald Trump's name connected to the Epstein files?

1381.926 - 1386.511 Tara Palmieri

Okay. Yeah. That's amazing. That's really sad.

0

1386.571 - 1394.079 Don Lemon

And you remember we were talking about it. I just played Megyn Kelly. I remember when she was like, well, I hear this. And he liked them older, but they weren't quite 10 or 8.

0

1394.099 - 1420.85 Tara Palmieri

Barely legal. Barely legal. Yeah. That was horrible. I mean, I remember listening to the audio from the interviews that the Palm Beach police had. had conducted with these high school girls. And, you know, I played them on my Instagram because I wanted people to hear their voices. One of the girls called Epstein's penis a wee-wee. You know, like that was how young they were.

0

1420.87 - 1446.999 Tara Palmieri

They were 14, 12, you know, 13 high school girls. And the younger, the better. Nine, I mean, it's revolting. But then again, you see that they collected child pornography in his house as well. So, I mean, I don't see how the pictures that he took of these girls were not considered child pornography either. I mean, they are, but it's revolting. It really is.

0

1447.62 - 1465.375 Don Lemon

Tara, what, why are they, what is the cover up here? Like, what is the reason? Why are they dragging their feet with this? Because it just keeps getting worse. And the person who has mentioned the most in the files beyond the main, you know, Glenn Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein is Donald Trump.

1465.962 - 1492.969 Tara Palmieri

Yeah, he is really mentioned probably the most. A lot. And they're redacting shit with his name on it. Yeah, he's really, really up there. It's crazy. And to think that it's causing such shockwaves in the UK to the point where they're talking about toppling a prime minister because he selected an ambassador who had very... you know, very, very, very troubling ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

1493.45 - 1502.085 Tara Palmieri

They're going to take down the leader of their country. They took down a prince. We have had zero, zero repercussions here because of it. It's really sad.

Chapter 5: What accusations are being made against high-profile individuals?

1502.125 - 1539.989 Tara Palmieri

It's a sad moment that the U.S. is falling behind on such a basic human right. And the right for these victims to face some justice. And also just, we were once the leaders of, of just stability and like justice. And I just, it just feels, I don't know. It feels, it feels wrong right now, but yeah. The survivors aren't stopping. They had that very powerful advertisement during Super Bowl.

0

1543.134 - 1556.051 Tara Palmieri

They're not stopping, and they're going to be on Capitol Hill this week, I'm pretty sure. I think on Wednesday they'll be there. and they know that they have to keep the story alive. Um, there is something that really caught my eye. Um, some new files.

0

1556.231 - 1565.722 Don Lemon

Before you go that, can you hold that? Cause you mentioned the, can we play the ad since you mentioned it? Yeah, let's play the ad and then we'll call your thought and remember what you were going to say. Cause I want to hear it, but here's the ad.

0
0

1581.674 - 1603.935 Megyn Kelly

after years of being kept apart we're standing together standing standing together because this girl deserves the truth because she deserves the truth because we all deserve the truth oh my gosh

1606.193 - 1619.408 Don Lemon

So I did not see that because it ran towards the end of the Super Bowl, if I'm not mistaken. And so I was in transit trying to get home so I could wake up. But did you go to the Super Bowl? No, no. I went to a Super Bowl party.

1621.21 - 1624.053 Tara Palmieri

I was like, God damn. Grammys, Super Bowl.

1624.193 - 1632.503 Don Lemon

I was supposed to go to the Grammys, but I was supposed to go to the Super Bowl. But, you know, some things happen and I decided, oh, too much travel. But, yeah.

1632.523 - 1632.623

Yeah.

Chapter 6: How do the Epstein files impact the current political landscape?

1634.628 - 1644.361 Don Lemon

But yeah, I was going to go to the Superbowl, but you know what? I just decided it was too far. And then not that it was too far to go to San Francisco, but having to drive from San Francisco to where the, this is too much. I couldn't do it.

0

1644.381 - 1645.583 Tara Palmieri

Yeah.

0

1645.643 - 1650.65 Don Lemon

But anyways, more important things. Those are kids in those ads. When you look at these, those are kids.

0

1651.371 - 1668.45 Tara Palmieri

Yeah, they were, they really were. I mean, I 16, 14, 15. Courtney wild Jane doe one showed up with braces on her teeth. Like this, this, this was, this was his MO. Like this wasn't a barely legal thing. And even if it was disgusting, like it's gross.

0

1668.47 - 1668.57 Don Lemon

Yeah.

1668.63 - 1669.892 Tara Palmieri

Yeah. It's really foul.

1670.793 - 1674.238 Don Lemon

What were you going to say though? You said you were looking or something.

1674.318 - 1699.415 Tara Palmieri

There was okay. Yeah. So there was some stuff that came out in the Epstein files and actually Washington posted some great reporting on it. Just sad that they were losing basically their entire editorial team. But yeah, They found that Epstein's lawyers contacted the CIA and the NSA to ask for proof of his affiliation with the agencies, okay?

1699.515 - 1712.835 Tara Palmieri

And they got back to them with a Glomar response, which was basically an either confirm or deny, or we can't, you know, the NSA said we can't say anything because it would give up sources, classified information, et cetera.

Chapter 7: What are the implications of the cover-ups discussed in the episode?

1713.576 - 1736.91 Tara Palmieri

And that's pretty... And the latest tranche found that he was actually messaging with Bill Burns, the former CIA director, a lot. Like, you know, there are messages, there's texts. He had this relationship with, you know, major intelligence agencies in the U.S. And I think it explains why he received these sweetheart deals. Yeah.

0

1736.89 - 1766.222 Tara Palmieri

And why these victims still to this day feel like there was something very dark and nefarious that continues to go on and why power is policing itself to this day and protecting itself in this story. So I felt like that was a pretty significant file. This was a strategic decision by his lawyers to try to get information that showed that he was helpful to intelligence agencies.

0

1767.367 - 1788.14 Don Lemon

Yeah, which reminds me of something. By the way, if you're just joining us, Tara Palmieri is here. Tara Palmieri is a great reporter and she is the author, you can say. Her substack is Red Letter and it's over on substack, obviously, but it's called Red Letter. And also she has a YouTube show, the Tara Palmieri Show. So and that's who we're talking to today.

0

1788.381 - 1810.793 Don Lemon

You know, I don't know if you happen to see Tara, the John Ossoff this weekend. John Ossoff said when he talked about this is the Epstein class that we're in. And when you were saying that about, you know, being able to curry favor or whatever with all these organizations, John Ossoff is right. This is the Epstein class and they are getting away. Many of them probably got away with it.

0

1811.393 - 1812.595 Don Lemon

That's what we're in right now.

1812.727 - 1833.846 Tara Palmieri

Right, exactly. And here's the thing about Jeffrey Epstein. People are like, was he a spy? I don't think he was a spy. I think he was useful. I think he was a hyper-connector. He could connect intelligence agencies with people, foreign dignitaries, presidents, powerful hedge fund managers. He had information that could possibly help them with their files.

1833.866 - 1841.113 Tara Palmieri

He was obviously in very close connection with Russian expats, to the point where Poland is now investigating his connections to Moscow.

1841.093 - 1873.259 Tara Palmieri

So I think it shows that this isn't just a Palm Beach, Caribbean Island, Upper East Side sex trafficking operation, that this is global and that he's been able to operate without any recourse because he offered something that the government found to be more valuable than protecting young women and girls. It was the information he could provide. And it's really troubling.

1873.279 - 1890.068 Tara Palmieri

I mean, we've seen this throughout history, Whitey Bulger playing both sides of the law while killing people, but offering the FBI information. But I think it's just, it's really affirmative. And when I was working on the Broken Jeffrey Epstein podcast in 2019 with Virginia Giuffre,

Chapter 8: What is the response from lawmakers regarding accountability?

2036.371 - 2062.291 Jasmine Crockett

for what she, Jeffrey, and all the co-conspirators did to me. I was raped repeatedly. I was raped three times a day sometimes. And I was not the only girl on that island. There was a constant stream of girls being raped over and over and over again. And yes, Ghislaine must die in prison because I've been in hell and back for the last 17 years.

0

2063.993 - 2065.095 Melanie Stansbury

And 27 for me.

0

2065.497 - 2074.729 Jasmine Crockett

I was 10 years old when Liz Stein was being trafficked. I was 10. That is how long the sex trafficking ring has been going on.

0

2076.552 - 2109.08 Don Lemon

And I think the woman next to her, if I'm not mistaken, said she was to, this was 27 years ago for her. So that was before 10 years before that young lady. Can you imagine? She said, and it happened sometimes twice a day. What are they covering up, people? What is going on here? What is going on here that they are not, one would think that they would want to be transparent about this.

0

2109.421 - 2143.513 Don Lemon

Get these, what they call them, PDFs out of here. These PDF files, get them out of here. But instead, they're doing everything within their power to try to make it as hard as possible to put this puzzle together. And they are lying. Some of them are lying. And I want you to listen to this, okay? Now, there are, you know Howard Lutnick, right? Howard Lutnick is on Donald Trump's cabinet.

2143.898 - 2166.447 Don Lemon

And Howard Lutnick said this. This was years ago because he was supposedly Jeffrey Epstein's neighbor. And so I want you to listen closely in this interview as he is trying to distance himself, he and his wife, from Jeffrey Epstein. And then we're going to show you some information that was dropped from the files that completely contradicts and refutes what he is saying. Here it is.

2168.047 - 2186.696 Howard Lutnick

He opens the doors and there's a massage table in the middle of the room and candles all around and stuff. So I ask very insightful cutting questions. I say to him, massage table in the middle of your house? How often you have a massage?

2187.777 - 2196.771 Don Lemon

And he says, every day. And then he like gets like weirdly close to me. And he says, and the right kind of massage.

2197.392 - 2227.143 Howard Lutnick

now my wife is standing here so she looks at me and i look at her and we say i'm sorry we have to And we left. And in the six or eight steps it takes to get from his house to my house, my wife and I decided that I will never be in the room with that disgusting person ever again.
