Chapter 2: What are the latest revelations from the Epstein files?

We're not gonna stop. There were those that thought we would stop when we were able to get the discharge petition done. There were those that thought we were gonna stop when it didn't seem like we had the votes once we finally got that done. I mean, the House Speaker shut the House down so that we would not go there, right?
And now that they have violated the law, because this is actually in law, we are not stopping. So I want people to understand that House Democrats, we are gonna be on their asses. That's just the reality.
And what is your message to President Trump in that case?
Same thing. We're going to be on his ass. I mean, you know, it is it is so. I don't really know where we are in this country. Why are we even having this conversation? The United States is falling apart right now, partially because he's going out and randomly allowing for the killings of people in the middle of the street.
But the other part of it is that we have a 34 count convicted felon and there are people that are still shielding him from any type of accountability as it relates to a child sex trafficking ring. It is time to take the blinders off. Like I don't understand why we are pretending like any of this is normal.
And I think that that is the level of frustration that so many people are bringing, whether you're a Democrat, Republican, or independent, specifically to the Epstein file situation.
Because right now we know that they were willing to try to throw the Clintons in prison for not showing up, yet they won't even allow us to bring other people into committee who we know are mentioned in these files and mentioned so much more. When we went through the hearing as relates to the Clintons, I said, listen, we know that Donald Trump's name is mentioned more. Bring him in, too.
Like, I'm not saying that this should be partisan. This should be whoever. I want to be clear about that. For the Democrats, this isn't partisanship. This is about right versus wrong.

Okay. Yeah. That's amazing. That's really sad.
And you remember we were talking about it. I just played Megyn Kelly. I remember when she was like, well, I hear this. And he liked them older, but they weren't quite 10 or 8.
Barely legal. Barely legal. Yeah. That was horrible. I mean, I remember listening to the audio from the interviews that the Palm Beach police had. had conducted with these high school girls. And, you know, I played them on my Instagram because I wanted people to hear their voices. One of the girls called Epstein's penis a wee-wee. You know, like that was how young they were.
They were 14, 12, you know, 13 high school girls. And the younger, the better. Nine, I mean, it's revolting. But then again, you see that they collected child pornography in his house as well. So, I mean, I don't see how the pictures that he took of these girls were not considered child pornography either. I mean, they are, but it's revolting. It really is.
Tara, what, why are they, what is the cover up here? Like, what is the reason? Why are they dragging their feet with this? Because it just keeps getting worse. And the person who has mentioned the most in the files beyond the main, you know, Glenn Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein is Donald Trump.
Yeah, he is really mentioned probably the most. A lot. And they're redacting shit with his name on it. Yeah, he's really, really up there. It's crazy. And to think that it's causing such shockwaves in the UK to the point where they're talking about toppling a prime minister because he selected an ambassador who had very... you know, very, very, very troubling ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
They're going to take down the leader of their country. They took down a prince. We have had zero, zero repercussions here because of it. It's really sad.

Chapter 5: What accusations are being made against high-profile individuals?
It's a sad moment that the U.S. is falling behind on such a basic human right. And the right for these victims to face some justice. And also just, we were once the leaders of, of just stability and like justice. And I just, it just feels, I don't know. It feels, it feels wrong right now, but yeah. The survivors aren't stopping. They're not stopping, and they're going to be on Capitol Hill this week, I'm pretty sure. I think on Wednesday they'll be there. and they know that they have to keep the story alive. Um, there is something that really caught my eye. Um, some new files.

Chapter 6: How do the Epstein files impact the current political landscape?
But yeah, I was going to go to the Superbowl, but you know what? I just decided it was too far. And then not that it was too far to go to San Francisco, but having to drive from San Francisco to where the, this is too much. I couldn't do it.

There was okay. Yeah. So there was some stuff that came out in the Epstein files and actually Washington posted some great reporting on it. Just sad that they were losing basically their entire editorial team. But yeah, They found that Epstein's lawyers contacted the CIA and the NSA to ask for proof of his affiliation with the agencies, okay?
And they got back to them with a Glomar response, which was basically an either confirm or deny, or we can't, you know, the NSA said we can't say anything because it would give up sources, classified information, et cetera.

Chapter 7: What are the implications of the cover-ups discussed in the episode?
And that's pretty... And the latest tranche found that he was actually messaging with Bill Burns, the former CIA director, a lot. Like, you know, there are messages, there's texts. He had this relationship with, you know, major intelligence agencies in the U.S. And I think it explains why he received these sweetheart deals. Yeah.
And why these victims still to this day feel like there was something very dark and nefarious that continues to go on and why power is policing itself to this day and protecting itself in this story. So I felt like that was a pretty significant file. This was a strategic decision by his lawyers to try to get information that showed that he was helpful to intelligence agencies.
Yeah, which reminds me of something. By the way, if you're just joining us, Tara Palmieri is here. Tara Palmieri is a great reporter and she is the author, you can say. Her substack is Red Letter and it's over on substack, obviously, but it's called Red Letter. And also she has a YouTube show, the Tara Palmieri Show. So and that's who we're talking to today.
You know, I don't know if you happen to see Tara, the John Ossoff this weekend. John Ossoff said when he talked about this is the Epstein class that we're in. And when you were saying that about, you know, being able to curry favor or whatever with all these organizations, John Ossoff is right. This is the Epstein class and they are getting away. Many of them probably got away with it.
That's what we're in right now.
Right, exactly. And here's the thing about Jeffrey Epstein. People are like, was he a spy? I don't think he was a spy. I think he was useful. I think he was a hyper-connector. He could connect intelligence agencies with people, foreign dignitaries, presidents, powerful hedge fund managers. He had information that could possibly help them with their files.
He was obviously in very close connection with Russian expats, to the point where Poland is now investigating his connections to Moscow.
So I think it shows that this isn't just a Palm Beach, Caribbean Island, Upper East Side sex trafficking operation, that this is global and that he's been able to operate without any recourse because he offered something that the government found to be more valuable than protecting young women and girls. It was the information he could provide. And it's really troubling.
I mean, we've seen this throughout history, Whitey Bulger playing both sides of the law while killing people, but offering the FBI information. But I think it's just, it's really affirmative. And when I was working on the Broken Jeffrey Epstein podcast in 2019 with Virginia Giuffre,

Chapter 8: What is the response from lawmakers regarding accountability?
for what she, Jeffrey, and all the co-conspirators did to me. I was raped repeatedly. I was raped three times a day sometimes. And I was not the only girl on that island. But instead, they're doing everything within their power to try to make it as hard as possible to put this puzzle together. And they are lying. Some of them are lying. And I want you to listen to this, okay? Now, there are, you know Howard Lutnick, right? Howard Lutnick is on Donald Trump's cabinet.
And Howard Lutnick said this. This was years ago because he was supposedly Jeffrey Epstein's neighbor. And so I want you to listen closely in this interview as he is trying to distance himself, he and his wife, from Jeffrey Epstein. And then we're going to show you some information that was dropped from the files that completely contradicts and refutes what he is saying. Here it is.
He opens the doors and there's a massage table in the middle of the room and candles all around and stuff. So I ask very insightful cutting questions. I say to him, massage table in the middle of your house? How often you have a massage?
And he says, every day. And then he like gets like weirdly close to me. And he says, and the right kind of massage.
now my wife is standing here so she looks at me and i look at her and we say i'm sorry we have to And we left. And in the six or eight steps it takes to get from his house to my house, my wife and I decided that I will never be in the room with that disgusting person ever again.
