Chapter 1: What unsettling event is being discussed in this episode?
Good evening, everyone. 5 o'clock on the East Coast. Lemon Live at 5. Thank you for joining one hell of a week. One really hell of a week. And one just story and development and detail, one after the other after the other. And each time it seems to get more horrific. It shows us how some people in this country are just brainwashed. And
It frightens me to think that some of the people who feel the way that they feel and act the way they're acting are actually leaders.
Chapter 2: How do eyewitness accounts challenge the official narrative?
So here's what I would ask you to do. First order of business as it is every single day. Please hit the like and the thumbs up. It does affect the algorithm. More people become aware of our conversation and our channel. And it is very important for our viability here. Also, please like, as I said, thumbs up. And hit the hearts, whatever platform you're watching on. And subscribe. We stay viable.
Chapter 3: What details are revealed about the shooting incident in Minneapolis?
We're able to bring you these programs and this independent journalism and news and media. We're able to do it because of your generosity and because of your support. Okay? So please become a member. If you're already a member, gift someone a membership. You can do that. And you can subscribe. Subscriptions are free. Okay. I'm going to get you live now. This is Minnesota.
And that's where we're going today. We're going to talk about what's happening in Minneapolis and what the Trump administration and what law enforcement they're afraid is going to start happening all over the country, meaning people protesting and being outraged, even further outraged with these MAGA, ICE, and Border Patrol goons that are out terrorizing people.
And now one of them has killed a person, another person, because there have been others who have been killed as well. So thank you so much for joining us. I want to bring in now someone who's going to help us talk about this. I'm outraged. Because, oh, Jolly, I'm sorry. Jolly, Jolly, Jolly Goodginger is here.
Jolly Helms, the Jolly Goodginger YouTube channel and is our Washington correspondent for the Don Lemon Show.
Chapter 4: How does the conversation shift to the role of ICE and federal agents?
And today he is our military correspondent. I don't say that tongue in cheek. I say that because he is. He's a former member of the military. Jolly, you have been reporting on this on your channel and your socials as we watch these pictures and the protesters in Minneapolis. How are you feeling today, brother? What are you thinking about this?
I am. Equally outraged. First of all, you know, my condolences to Renee Good, her family. And I'm glad you brought up that she's not the first person that ICE has killed. On New Year's Eve, an off-duty ICE agent shot Robert Porter. It was outside of his jurisdiction. This off-duty ICE agent heard gunshots and it was Robert Porter shooting a gun in celebratory gunfire for New Year's Eve.
Now, I'm against celebratory gunfire, but that's neither here nor there. This off-duty ICE agent decided he wanted to be a cop, and he shot and killed that man on New Year's Eve. I'm sorry, Keith Porter, I apologize. Additionally, how many people have died in ICE custody in these inhumane detention facilities? So, you know, I'm as equally outraged as you.
Chapter 5: What evidence is presented regarding the shooting video?
You're talking about the protests in Minneapolis. I have one of my guys on the ground there in Minneapolis today. He's been sending me videos throughout the day. The most recent video he sent me was at 3 o'clock, so just a couple hours ago. They were shooting flashbang grenades at the protesters. Matter of fact, I'll send that to your producers if you want to pop it up.
So early this morning in Minneapolis, they went out to the Whipple Federal Building and they were protesting. There wasn't any more than 20, 30 people. And they were there protesting, holding up signs like, get ICE out of Minnesota kind of thing. The ICE agents came out of the facility and immediately started shooting tear gas and pepper bullets at them before there was ever even an interaction.
It's just, it's like, Every day we're watching ICE escalate the situation more because they're given this, what J.D. Vance said, absolute immunity. Just so everybody knows, that's the conversation happening behind closed doors as well. Tom Homan and Greg Bovino and the whole chain of command is telling people, you have absolute immunity. Go out here and arrest these
illegal immigrants, they call them. And if anybody gets in your way, if anybody films you, if anybody protests you, if anybody does anything, then you have absolute immunity to stop them, to detain them, to harm them, to hurt them because you're a federal agent on a federal mission.
Chapter 6: How do the hosts analyze the implications of the incident on civil rights?
And that is dangerous. We have an out of control, unregulated, untrained, undisciplined, unprofessional, ragtag private army of the president out here killing, kidnapping, and terrorizing the community.
Jolly, I can't really explain to you the extent to which how upset I am and to hear people making excuses, especially excuses for this latest video that just came out. And I can't see how, I don't know what people are watching and why they think that this somehow reflects poorly on the driver because she was leaving. Someone was approaching your car. I would drive off too. I would drive off too.
And they're using this video, the right wing folks, they're using this video to show, oh my God, she is a lesbian. She's this, she's an agitator. She's whatever. Her last words that I could hear was, hey dude, I'm not mad at you. That was the last time. Now, the friend who was next to the car, and I'm going to show you the video in a second, was saying, why don't you go have some lunch?
You're a big boy. Okay.
Okay.
it's free speech in this country the free speech absolutists there are people out there all the time when you're out there yelling libtard and the n-word and Jews will not replace us when you're out there doing that and the people out there doing their proud boy shit which I'm sure many of them are part of the ice goons you talk crap about people all the time
That does not give someone the right to shoot you. It doesn't.

Chapter 7: What comparisons are made to past incidents of police violence?
It does not. You know what? I saw him. You're looking hard for an excuse, Jolly. And there is no excuse. And because the guy was standing... First of all, he should not have been in front of the car. And he's camera in one hand and the thing in the other hand. Because if anything made contact with the car, the mirror, whatever it is, okay.
But that doesn't mean that he was in that... It was danger. And so I'm going to show you that there's new video. By the way, these are live pictures again from Minneapolis. But Jolly, I want you to respond. But let's look at the video because I want you to analyze it. And I want you to talk about what we're seeing on this new video that was leaked to this far right wing website or whatever it is.
And then we'll discuss. Here it is.
That's fine, dude. I'm not mad at you. Show your face. I'm not mad at you.
Chapter 8: What conclusions do the hosts draw about accountability and justice?
It's okay. We don't change our plates every morning, just so you know. It'll be the same plate when you come talk to us later. That's fine. U.S. citizen. You want to come at us? You want to come at us? I said go get yourself some lunch, big boy. Get out of the car. Get out of the fucking car. Get out of the car.
You heard that, right? Yeah. I mean, listen, I'm going to say exactly what I saw in this video. I want to break down what I watched in this video. Several things. First of all, like you pointed out, she said, I'm not mad at you, dude. It's cool. I'm not mad at you. She was already sitting there. It's worth noting that he approached her car. And listen, I put a video out about this earlier.
Let me clarify it right now on your live stream. That is not a body cam. People have been saying body cam. That's his personal cell phone. So he got out of his vehicle. This is very important. He got out of his vehicle already recording on a personal device.
I wonder what is the Department of Homeland Security's policy on their agents being distracted recording on their personal devices rather than being locked in on this situation. Kristi Noem, the bird-legged hoe she is. She keeps claiming that this was a tactical situation. JD Vance calls it a tactical situation, a dangerous situation.
Well, listen, I deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, and I wouldn't find myself in a tactically dangerous situation with my cell phone out. I would have my eyes and ears, my head on a swivel. I would have my gear ready, whatever I need. In this case, I would have my weapon, whatever. But he gets out with his cell phone.
Number two, he placed himself in front of the vehicle and he already drew his weapon. He drew his weapon on her, which is why when she drove off, he was able to fire so quickly. He drew his weapon on her as a way to threaten her into compliance. I looked up, if you go to DHS.gov, DHS.gov, you can look up their use of force policy.
You are not allowed, you are not allowed to use your weapon to force compliance of someone in a vehicle or a moving vehicle. If there's no other threat present. So in other words, if she doesn't have another weapon, if she had a weapon, it would change the whole scenario. She was unarmed. There was no other threat present.
The DHS use of force policy says, if you believe there to be an imminent threat, you can use your weapon. She says, it's okay, dude. I'm not mad at you. So therefore, clearly no threat present. Number three. Number three, I wonder what DHS policy is having your cell phone in one hand and your weapon in the other hand. Listen, I've handled a lot of weapons in my life in the army.
I was an expert marksman on the M4, on the M9, on the M2, and on the M249. I was also the weapons instructor for two different battalions that I was in. If you couldn't pass your weapons training or your weapons qualification, you had to come see me and I trained you. I understand weapons intimately. I understand how important it is to handle your weapon properly.
