I guess some folks thought that it was a possibility, but perhaps it happening was a shock to the system still, considering that This is a member, a former member of the royal family, the brother of the King of England, the son of the former Queen, the departed Queen of England. So Andrew, Prince Andrew, or formerly Prince Andrew, was arrested this morning and was kept in custody all day for questioning. He was seen leaving, we have a photo of him, leaving the police station

One email in the latest U.S. release appears to show him forwarding Epstein a report of his special advisor about from his special advisor about the then Prince's visit to Southeast Asia. So he is denied wrongdoing in that. But I want to bring in now someone who can speak to all of this and has a wealth of knowledge and information, interviewing folks, seeing some of the files. And that is Yasmeen Ansari, Representative Yasmeen Ansari. She has served Arizona's third congressional district since 2025.

Look, I think it has been both positive news to see how other countries are holding perpetrators and those who are connected to Jeffrey Epstein accountable, but also such a reality check and a wake up call to show just how far behind we are here in the United States. I missed some of your intro, but obviously the big news of today is that Andrew was arrested. We know that he's been released temporarily not sure the details of this, but we know that the Epstein scandal and the fact that so many people in the United Kingdom and the royal family and other countries were involved, this is completely ripping apart the monarchy in the UK. In other places around the world, people have had to resign from their positions.
They're getting fired. They're getting stripped of The, you know, titles that they had. And I think that's really important. And to me, I was thinking a lot today about Virginia Dufresne, one of, you know, the most outspoken victims of Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and all of these other people. They called her a liar for so many years. They made her life hell. for so many years. And I think that the dam is finally breaking on this and it's time here in the United States for us to hold individuals who had any involvement with Epstein enabled his crimes in any way accountable once and for all.
What do you think this, you were talking about Virginia Giuffre, and I'm going to get to you because you've interviewed someone who has a very big connection to Jeffrey Epstein. But what do you think this moment means for the victims? Virginia Giuffre is no longer with us.
Yeah. I think it's a big moment. I think having spent quality time with the victims, every time there's progress, every time somebody is held accountable in small ways, in big ways, it's meaningful.
