It changes the landscape of America. It changes the voting situation in America. And it changes black political power in this country. It is really an enormous story. It should be the headline. It should be the only story, really. We also have to give you some other stuff. Gas prices just hit a four-year high. $4.30, okay? So gas prices hit $4.23. It's $4.30.
I think since that even went up. 4.30 a gallon this morning, between 4.23. Yesterday we said, I think we said it was 4.18, 4.30 now. This is crazy. So congratulations to everyone working from home. If you don't have a commute, I applaud you. You're smart. Or if you take the bus or you take the train. But so that affects the prices of that. They're going to start raising that because that, you know, you got electricity, you got to pay for energy. The bus, gas, or unless it's an electric bus, still energy. So it affects the price of everything. But congratulations right now, your costs are down. Or if you have an electric car. It's a little bit cheaper. If you plug it in at home, that's going to go to your home energy bill.
I mean, look. confounding it's a mess it is a hot mess let's be honest but these gas prices are outrageous and it is going to get even worse even more outrageous okay because oil hit 126 dollars a barrel this morning 126 and remember when it was a hundred dollars everybody's like oh my gosh it's a hundred dollars now it's 126 so this is says 120 but 126 you know hey it's in the ballpark 120 some odd dollars this morning.
