Like he has to have a vote within 48 hours, but he could have it in twelve hours or twenty-four hours. So that and there's no benefit to Pete Hegseth to have this hanging over his head until the election day. He's sh if if the whip count had been good, they would have disposed with this with my motion.

There's a National Defense Authorization Act that's not been done. There's a farm bill that's not been conferenced between the House and the Senate. There's a funding bill that runs out in December. There's a lot of stuff they're piling up into the lame duck session.

You know what? I don't need to see that report. I buy fuel for my tractor and I buy gas for my car. That's the that's the real price of the war. It's been over a hundred billion dollars of cost to consumers. Not not the cost of the military. People don't see that 'cause that's hidden in our debt, but when you go to fill up your tank you see it.
Look, we all wish everyone well, but you uh Senator Mitch McConnell was missing in action for ninety-two days, and now he's back. I mean I look at the pictures, I have to be honest. It doesn't look good. Yesterday the vote were you present for the vote yesterday with him? Um I mean they vote separately than us, so So he um had a bunch of I haven't I haven't but to your point Have you seen the video? He had a bunch of people around him and he's supposed to vote aye and he voted nay and then they corrected him and told him and then he voted.
Yeah, it makes me wonder what Scott Jennings' twenty minute conversation with McConnell was like. Yeah. What do you think? You think he just I wish him the best. Um honestly they're not gonna do much of of anything up here um between now and January third. There's gonna be some nefarious stuff during the lame duck session that would happen with or without McConnell, with or without a replacement to McConnell. And so at this point, since since Mike Johnson has canceled the rest of Congress, I don't know which is worse. A senator that doesn't show up or four hundred and thirty five members who can't even be in here doing our job.
