We we have games cancelled obviously and we we really I think we only played late in order the first time in two weeks we played a game. So it's kinda like, yeah, um yeah, with with all due respect, I think with six seasons we've shown we've never shirked from a bad run of form or not playing well or you know, whatever. So no, so yeah, it was uh it was a nice coincidence that we finally, you know, found our boots again last night and uh got back to winning ways. So yeah. Yeah,
so we there's been four games. Obviously we're not going to go through all of them, you know, kick by kick, but since we were last spoke, you had Exeter, which was three all at home, you had Northampton, which is one all away, you lost to Leighton Orient, two one away, and then we had Rogerland last night with a five nil win.
Yeah, look, I I'm not gonna sugarcoat it. Everyone knows, you know, I was just speaking to the manager there for the last hour and that's why we're late recording, but everyone knows that one thing's derailed us this season and and you know, forget about previous management staff. I'm talking about with this management staff. Injuries have just derailed our season, you know, and and you know, you always say don't make excuses and so I I saw I think Swannee and someone else, I think it might have been Adrian Durham talking about it and You know, because everyone's losing their shit about us getting relegated to games we hadn't run for a few games and you know, I saw comments about oh the squad and the d don't give me that shit about the squad.
Are you kidding me? Like the amount of centre halves we've lost alone this season. I mean, I was going through data this morning. Like you look at all the top teams, look at your Lincolns, look at whatever else. Tell me how many times their centre back partnership have played together in 35 games. Usually you'd have about 85%, 90% of the time, the same two centre backs. You know, we're playing, we've been playing with three right backs for the last five weeks, you know. Unfortunately, Tom Lees went down before you guys, and we just haven't recovered. We haven't recovered, and it's just been You know Our top score goes for hernia surgery. Know one of the best number nines in the league. Matt Gorbett's one of the best players in the league one hasn't been available for it feels like fucking two months.
Ben Woods, who had a durability factor of nine out of ten when we signed him, has basically not been available a lot of the season with first when he came in he had his broken fingers, then he played and we were doing well. And then obviously he had a minor calf issue against Rotherham, which turned into a bigger calf issue. And it's uh you know Again, he's not been available. Um and then you've got Um Harley Mills, you know, is finally back. And I'm gonna give props to him.
