I'm Jake Brennan, and on the Disgraceland podcast, I explore the wild lives of rock stars and unbelievable true crime stories from music history. These are the stories you haven't heard, the kind you'll end up telling someone else. Like the time Paul McCartney spent in a notorious prison or the bizarre crime Lady Gaga is accused of. Or that time Blondie's Debbie Harry escaped Ted Bundy. Listen to Disgraceland on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

What is going on, everybody? How are we doing? John Middlecock, 3NOW Podcast. It's me, this is the show. We got a lot going on today. We got hold-ins with some star running backs. We got Mike McCarthy changing it up in Pittsburgh a little bit. I thought we'd do a little thing because there's so many little stories about guys injured, guys playing through, guys coming back. Some good and bad today from camps around the league. We'll do some mailbag questions as well. At John Middlecoff, at John Middlecoff is the Instagram. Fire in those DMs. You guys know the drill. And we'll dive into some football. I do want to start with, remember years ago, there felt like a, I don't know if they tried to stage a mutiny. But it was like, are the running backs all going to quit the NFL? They all thought they were getting screwed. And in fairness, some of them had a little bit of a beef. You know, we had offensive guards, linebackers, ton of other positions getting paid a lot of money. And it felt really difficult for the running backs. You know, football is very cyclical. Things ebb and they flow. And the running backs, and part of it is the talent that has come into the league over the last, I mean, I don't know, 10 years. I think we'd all agree, you know, you have to put together a career.
John Middlekauff 4:13
But when McCaffrey and Saquon are right, I mean, they're two of the best talents of like the internet era, you know.
