All right, welcome to Hoops Tonight here at The Volume. We are at the Sirius XM Studios at The Win in Las Vegas. They've been taking amazing care of us during this week, so appreciate them. We have two more very special guests today. Those of you guys who have listened to the Lakers Collective podcast throughout the season, Yovan Buha and Trevor Lane and myself covered the Lakers all year long. I've since departed the show. I've been replaced by the very able, super talented, great friend of mine, Pete Zayas, and onward and upwards for Lakers Collective. I am super excited to see where you guys continue to take that. But thank you guys so much for taking the time to come hang out today. It has been an incredibly eventful

Lakers offseason. It is quite literally a completely different team. They have gotten rid of everybody from the team that beat the Rockets in the first round. And a very exciting first round draft pick. That is where I want to start. Because I am more excited about Cam than any of the recent Laker draft picks over the last several years. And I think he toes a very specific line as a player that I think is going to be able to play for the Lakers right away, but also has the long-term potential of filling a very important starting spot. So he's played four, three summer league games now. and has looked impressive really in all of them. We'll start with you, Jovan. What has been your first impression of Cameron Carr?
Jovan Buha 3:54
I've been incredibly impressed with Cameron Carr. I was joking on the show that he might be the Lakers' seventh best player already. I think they got their locked in top six. He might be number seven already. But to me, it's been the off-ball utility that he has as a catch-and-shoot guy, a guy who can attack a closeout, a guy who can come off a screen, hit a little pull-up middie, or attack the rim offensively.
