On the latest episode of Real Health with me, Carl Henry, we're chatting all things back pain, posture and lots more with physio Mike Murphy.
There's definitely a bad posture to be stuck in all day. There's definitely positions that'll put pressure on my neck or other joints. You know, we like to think of our head, your head's about five kilos and that's about a bowling ball. Okay, so if you imagine I have this bowling ball and I'm leaned forward, you know, 10 hours a day at the desk, you know, five, six days a week for 10 years, that's going to add up to a fair amount of strain or demand on my neck muscles.

Lastly, I want to thank my daughter, Freya, who I'm most grateful for. She has given me so much strength and courage over the last six years throughout this nightmare to keep on pushing forward for justice. I want to show Freya and every other girl and boy that you can stand up for yourself if something happens to you, no matter who the person is, and justice will be served.
As Nikita Hand stood outside the High Court in Dublin, she said, justice has been served. A jury had just found Conor McGregor had assaulted Ms Hand in a civil case she took against him over an alleged rape in December 2018. The
jury awarded total damages to include general and special damages, which include medical expenses, of €248,603.
Now, two years on, she is once again finding the words to tell her story. This time in her book, Not the Perfect Victim. So, what did we learn and how is she dealing with her new reality?
As she said herself, I want people to see that even after something as traumatic as this, life can go on. And she did go on to find personal happiness with her partner, Gary, and have her baby. It's not a fairytale ending by any means. The shadow of this looms large.
I'm Fionnuala Sheehan, and today on the IndoDaily, I'm joined by the features writer and columnist at the Irish Dependent, Tanya Sweeney, who met with Nikita Hand ahead of the release of her memoir. Daniel Sweeney, you sat down with Nikita Hand to talk about her new book and obviously the case she took against Conor McGregor. But against the backdrop now, she's had a very positive development in her life.
Yes, basically she became a mother again to a little girl, a little girl that was very, very wanted. And so she was absolutely over the moon with her new partner. And they had a daughter about three, four months ago now, I think. And so when I met her, you know, she had the glow of a new mom and she was a little bit tired, you know, but she was obviously, and I should say as well, you know, probably a little bit apprehensive because this was the first time she was really talking about what had happened publicly. But the one thing that I was really struck by was how kind of articulate and kind of confident she was, because, you know, as she's always said herself, if I'm telling my truth and the truth, you know, it's absolutely fine.
I have nothing to hide and I have nothing to worry about.
