David Shull, CEO and co-founder of Tern, talks with James Shillinglaw of Insider Travel Report at last month’s ASTA Travel Advisor Conference in Dallas, where he and his team won the 2024 ASTA Entrepreneur of the Year award, which was established in 2015 by the Dan and Gloria Bohan Foundation. The $10,000 award is made to businesses that demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit in developing technology and services that travel advisors can use. In this case, Shull developed Tern as an all-in-one platform for advisors that offers everything from commission tracking and a CRM tool to itinerary building and even AI features.
