That present tension led them back through a trail of memories to a shocking core wound from when she was only two years old.In a war-torn region, her mother set her down and fled as guerrilla fighters approached. The rebels picked her up. Her father arrived, was nearly killed… and then one of the “enemies” looked into the little girl’s eyes and spared both their lives because of her.When the coach asked, “Where was Jesus in that moment?” everything shifted.
