Guest host Garland Nixon and Hard Lens Media's Kit Cabello discuss Macklemore being removed from Ed Sheeran's stadium tour after shouting "Free Palestine" at a recent MetLife Stadium show. Macklemore posted on Instagram that Robert Kraft threatened to block Sheeran's show from Gillette Stadium and rallied other venue owners, forcing Sheeran to choose between keeping Macklemore and retaining access to their venues. At the same time the Israeli American Council petitioned to have Macklemore dropped, while Pink and Boy George also criticized him, all of which the hosts frame as billionaire and Israel-linked censorship of artistic free speech. They argue that if venue owners can silence Macklemore for pro-Palestine speech, they can do the same to any artist who steps out of line, making it a free-speech issue for everyone.
