And today we are sharing a special episode with you of a new podcast that we just listened to. It comes from a friend of the podcast and former guest on The Knife, Jonathan Walton.
You guys probably remember we had Jonathan on the show last September. It's still one of our favorite episodes. You can listen to that episode in our feed. It's called Queen of the Con, Jonathan Walton's Story. We spoke with him about his excellent book, Anatomy of a Con Artist, and of course, his own riveting personal experience with being conned.
Yeah, I still think about his book so often, and it's just such a great book. He goes through the methods that con artists use to trick people, and he really lays it out in the book in such a smart and interesting way. It's excellent. If you haven't read it, I still highly recommend reading that book.
Yeah. And I mean, anecdotally, when we speak with people who have been scammed, it's like, oh, yep. Check, check, check. Everything in the book playing out in this story. So I recommend.
Yeah. And so he has a brand new podcast. Maybe there's a couple episodes out now. It's called Hardcore Con. And It's really interesting. We got to listen to the first episode, and every episode is a story of someone being scammed or conned. But Jonathan kind of weaves in a lot of what he's learned over the years studying scam artists into the story. So it's educational as well, I would say.
Yeah, and he's narrating it, and he's an amazing storyteller. Yeah, it's great. It's really great. We think you guys will love it.
