Why does Lauren talk about resetting after a chaotic morning?
This is an iHeart
Podcast.
Guaranteed human. Didn't catch the latest Roland Martin Unfiltered podcast? Here's
what you missed. People wake up and go, oh, damn, wait a minute, hold up. They changed all of that? Yes. It's real. This is a wholesale attack. It is targeting black people in every federal agency. It's raw. White folks have never allowed that reckoning to last more than a decade.

Let's get, let's get, let's get to it. Time to do it. I'm a homegirl that knows a little bit about everything and everybody. Did you hear that exclusive? You
know she don't lie about that, right? Lauren came in hot.
Hey, y'all, what's up? It's Lauren LaRosa, and this is another episode of The Latest with Lauren LaRosa. This is your daily dig on all things pop culture, entertainment news, and all of the conversations that shake the room, baby! Now, y'all know we always kick off The Latest with Lauren LaRosa checking in behind the scenes of the grind, so let's get it! Back on the grind. On the last episode of The Latest with Lauren La Rosa, the podcast, I was talking to you guys a lot about our experience in Vegas. I say our, I mean The Breakfast Club's experience in Vegas during the iHeartRadio Music Festival. 2026, where the likes of Snoop Dogg, Cardi B... Oh, Ciara, duh, Ciara, BTS, Zara Larsson, all these major names performed.
And some of the realizations that I came to just within that weekend, just about work and work life and growth and where things are currently and where they're headed.
How did a missed phone and rushed commute lead to a mindset reset?
But most importantly, where they are currently, which is always a big thing for me and something that I've been trying to master. is understanding and being in and really appreciating the current moment and using it to motivate myself as I move forward. Now, checking in behind the scenes of The Grind today, I was editing a behind the scenes video that I shot from... A behind-the-scenes video that I shot from the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas. And in the video, I was watching the video and I was like, man, you know what's so dope about this is every new experience is literally a new experience. And... Each new experience has no tie to the experiences that like accumulated before it. So in that moment, as I'm watching this video and I'll play you guys some of the audio from that video is such a powerful video to watch because I think you really get to see the important things that surround, um,
a lot of the recent successes that I've, you know, had, but also the reason why I say I was watching it and thinking like, yo, it's almost like a show must go on feeling like nobody knows the things that happened up until that moment. Every single time an opportunity, a moment is presented to you. You have such a fresh start and a fresh slate to introduce yourself, your talent, your gift, your voice to the world all over again. period like i was literally watching that video like there were over 20 000 people in that arena they make sure that's true hold on let me see how many people the t-mobile arena holds up to 20 000 people depending on the type of event in the setup nah it was all seated mad people in there there was up to 20 000 people
in that arena and over 70% of them probably met me for the first time. The minute I walked out on that stage and introduced Sierra, uh, which you guys heard in the last latest with Lauren La Rosa episode. And that is such a beautiful thing. And not just because it's like, Oh my God, I got this opportunity. I got this. But like, you know, one of the things that I'm always saying to myself is what I've had to learn if I'm being real with y'all. And something that stuck out prominently to me today is no matter what happens prior to the show must go on. I was rushing into work this morning. I freaking y'all this morning getting dressed. I misplaced my phone under clothes while getting dressed. So that held me up for about a good 10 minutes.
