America was built on finance. It wasn't built on tech. Everybody around the entire globe is trying to get a piece of what the American stock market. So that's why we created Stacks AI to get what hedge funds and billion dollar fund managers are able to get in terms of data. And we are giving it faster to the everyday investor.

Kim Ma 0:32
How we tailor Stacks AI is not necessarily built for these people that are already wealthy in terms of having an actual career, but our target market is essentially going to be people that also want to learn how to tackle the markets. One of our case studies on our website and our testimonial was him turning half a million dollars over 6.5 million dollars. Hey, guess how long though?
Rui Gutierrez 0:57
It spans the globe like a super high school internet Elvis Today, Apple is going to reinvent the phone. It's not over until I win. The Living Your Legacy podcast for those who live to leave a legacy.

Hi, welcome back to another episode of Legacy Makers podcast, living your legacy. And we have a special guest today that many of you will be interested in talking about AI. So let us know who you are. What's your name? Where are you from? And what's your business?
Kim Ma 1:50
Yeah, my name is Kimo Ma. I am the CEO and founder of Investor Central Capital and Stacks AI. And I am from San Francisco, California.
Rudy Mawer 1:59
All right, the Bay. So the Bay and technology, you're kind of in the heart of it all, but that's where you also grew up. That's correct. All right. So you're not the stereotypical guy that went to, you know, Silicon Valley, right?
Kim Ma 2:15
No, no. Although I grew up in the Bay Area, I was never really a tech guy or whatnot, but eventually shifted, obviously because of where I'm from, into the technology phase.
Rudy Mawer 2:26
In the media, everywhere. It's AI, AI everywhere. Tell us, how'd you get into tech and AI?
Kim Ma 2:33
So, I mean, I didn't necessarily get into tech because I wanted to get into tech. I actually worked around the whole global business industry, freight, import, export, anything you can name of around technology. until i figured out hey if i wanted to live a better life i wanted to get out of the nine to five phase if i wanted to invest like these big boys do and these hedge funds i needed to be in technology yeah and and so how did you get like into like what technology like what was the beginning of the journey So the beginning of the journey, again, wasn't involved in technology, but it was always involved in the stock market. I was very intrigued on the financial markets, the business, the realm of leverage.
Kim Ma 3:18
I've always like, you know, when I went to school, I went to school for engineering at first and I flunked, you know, I did horribly. tried to find a way out, went through business. I did marketing just to get a way out. And then from there, I really started getting involved in how people were able to leverage such small capital to make a large return. I went through the whole ABCs of You know, it's dividend investing, you know, long-term investing, you know, ramping up as much as I can into the S&P 500 or VOO, right? Pretty popular names.
Rudy Mawer 3:55
Yeah.
Kim Ma 3:55
And then from there, you know, I was like, look, I've seen people younger than me being more successful than me, right? And again, at the age of like, you know, 19, 20, success was making a shit ton of money. That was pretty much it. Yeah. And, you know, from there I was like, okay, how are these guys doing it if... If I came across what they were doing and I mimicked to at least learn the baseline and foundation of what they were doing, I can also try to, you know, create my own edge, my own strategy.
Rudy Mawer 4:23
It's funny how kind of like social media teaches you that you should get into finances and looking at the younger people and not necessarily school to give you a base of, you know, having a good financial base.
