All right. Uh and so yeah, you are all about I just did your session, right? It was an amazing session. You were all nervous, but I'm just telling you, you killed it, right? Uh nothing to be nervous about. I mean, honestly, you did wonderful. So yeah, I mean, we talked all about it. What a what a interesting career that you've had, but your main message was about preventative eye care, right? So give me a little background like what are you what are you talking about when preventative ICA?
Dr. Rae Huang 3:09
Mm-hmm. Uh, so I believe in preventing prescriptions before they even happen, instead of just correcting them and watching them get worse year after year, which actually, you know, makes the eye elongate and increases risk of diseases like cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and retinal detachment. I also believe in preventing dry eye before it gets really bad. It just gets worse. So instead of just waiting for a lot of these eye conditions to get worse, I believe in being proactive and trying to prevent as much of it as possible as soon as possible because I believe in prev preserving the eye for as long as possible. So even as a kid thinking about, you know, preserving your eye, you know, for when you're
Dr. Rae Huang 4:02
sixty basically.
Rudy Mawer 4:03
Hmm. Now one can't help that when I'm talking with you, I'm always like focusing on my eyes. You're like dry eye. I'm like, hmm, are my eyes kind of dry right now? I'm like, oh my God. So like when you talk about dry eye, like how dry? Right? Because I I feel like I I guess I could use a little eye drops, but like how dry is dry eye?
Dr. Rae Huang 4:23
Um, so every time you blink, uh, you should be squeezing my bum, your eyes naturally natural lubricant out, and that should be lubricating your eye. So if you blink and you don't feel any wetting, then your glands are probably clogged.
