Amazing. It was such a great time, such a blessing. I was nervous, but then, I mean, Kofi just made it so relaxed and just such a great experience, so much fun.
Right on. I was reading your show notes, because I do that sometimes, I read. First question out the gate was God-fearing parents. Let's start there. What was it like being told that you're going to hell? Constantly, don't do that, you're going to hell.
Yeah.
Well, I have to honestly say it wasn't that type. It wasn't that type. But yes, we were aware of hell, but mostly with the hell on earth, the stick, the spankings, the things like that. It was beautiful. I had a great family. There's four siblings. I mean, there's three other than myself. There's four of us and we're about three or four years apart. So we're not necessarily close in age, but the way that we were raised, you know, going to church and loving the Lord, but also very much about getting to experience all the things as a child. My parents worked really hard at every possible angle to provide for us, to make sure that we were going to do something. We were never going to be able to be lazy. We're going to be doing something, but something that we enjoyed.
So, I mean, from, I think... I was skiing, biking, I mean, water skiing, snow skiing, tap dancing, piano lessons, singing. And I know that sounds really overwhelming. We didn't each one of us do all of those things. But it was introducing us to things that, you know, maybe that's our God-given talent. Maybe we're going to go down that road and like that and, you know, do that. So...
Were your folks, your parents, always aware that you had supernatural powers as a child? Did you act differently? Did you speak backwards? What were the telltale signs that you're a little different?
A little different. Well, number one, I had not excelled in sports.
