Pat is one of Ireland’s most famous music promoters responsible for bringing some of the world’s biggest acts into Ireland for major gigs since the 1970s, including Bob Marley, Eric Clapton, Queen, Lou Reed, Billy Connolly, Julio Iglesias, and many more. And he’s got a story about every one of them – like being asked by a well-known criminal to give Bob Marley a bag of weed, carrying a fuzzball table up the stairs of the Shelbourne for Eric Clapton, driving a ‘female friend’ from Dublin airport to Lou Reed’s dressing room, at the stars request…Pat has seen it all, and he reveals all in this great conversation.
