He says, I recently married into a family that is very hunting oriented and has land my wife has hunted for over a decade. However, I have never killed a deer and this will be my first time hunting bigger game. My question for the crew is if I get a chance to harvest a trophy buck on my father-in-law's land, should I take the shot or is it more respectful of his generosity to pass the and target a smaller buck or doe instead.

Okay. I would tell him, if it's his first deer, Like don't go in there with overly high expectations. Like get your first deer. Yeah.

lives in the golden triangle.
Maybe there's 180
inch deer behind every tree. You're going to learn a lot, Sam, just talking to your father-in-law. And I bet he's a good father-in-law and he's going to be like, Sam, you shoot whatever makes you happy. But also, you should know, Sam, that there's a 175-inch 6x6 out there. That's what he's going to tell you. And then he's going to put you in that stand to kill that one.
If he's a terrible father-in-law and you feel like this could be the only opportunity to hunt this property, I would shoot the big one. If you're fixing to get divorced

that lives there.
