The president writing, quote, We will not in any way hinder or stifle the growth of this incredible industry. Rather, we will cherish it, help it, and watch over it as it grows. However, we will also be looking for bad, and we can do that very easily with our already existing criminal and civil justice system. For this purpose, I am forming the AI force, much like I did Space Force, which has been a tremendous success.
Mr. Trump also posting an online poll on X, asking followers whether AI or artificial intelligence should be renamed Superior Extreme or Supreme Intelligence. Trump later saying Supreme Intelligence was losing badly and reducing the choice to Extreme or Superior Intelligence. White House Science and Technology Policy Director Michael Kratzios explaining the need for such a force on Fox News Sunday.
I think the thing that he's describing is how important it is that we as an administration coordinate in order to make sure that this great technological innovation that's transforming the country, that's driving economic growth, continues to do so.
