It's been a long time in the making. I know you've been doing what? Skatepark of Tampa for 30 plus years?
I was trying not to show my age on the show. No, but you started it when you were five years old, right? Correct. So I'm like 35. It is going into, we're 33 years now. It started in 1993. Wow. Hence 93 Till Infinity. You guys can use this. They let us use it in case you want to put that in there. And I got stories for days, but I'll stop right there. The park's been going for 33 years. We've done Tampa Am and Tampa Pro for 33 years of the park, 32 years of the contest. So Tampa Am is actually in October, so it's right around the corner. It's been a long road.
The age-old question, what came first, Tampa Pro or Tampa Am?
Yeah, what came first? I want to know. If you look really close at the history books, we had to put both the contests in line. Pro started first, but technically there was a Rad Am contest. Like all ages, people came from like Atlanta. It wasn't as a far reach to like the East Coast like it was, you know, like Chris Hall and Reese Forbes. So we didn't quite push it just yet. So there was... The first contest, AM contest, we kind of went backwards, but it counted. Josh Stewart. Yeah,

Stewart. Filmmaker extraordinaire, put Tampa on the map as well as, you know, skate park of Tampa. There's a lot of things that put Tampa on the map, not just skate park of Tampa, but Josh Stewart won the first contest. So we kind of were like, let's call that Tampa AM before we even had a name for the next Tampa AM.
Tampa M was first,
technically. You could go either way with it, but let's go.

everything. Where does a pro come in,
then? This is behind the scenes with the judges when we're trying to fix the top three right now. So cut me some slack here. Tampa Am came first, but it wasn't like on, like the Airwalk sponsorship wasn't there yet because we were just building it. We were just building it and it just organically evolved and then the pro evolved and then Tampa Am was like, this is what it is and that's where it started. And we're talking about the street course
because there was a vert ramp there initially. That's
true. It
started with the vert ramp and then it went to the street course. So we're talking strictly street right
now. Good homework. Good homework on dropping the V-bomb,
